The hotel still need a lot of improvement. The funiture is old and the aircon was not working. The carpet is also old. The utencils are also a huge concern. There were only two towels. The room was smelling.

Bad!

The hotel was dirty and smelt bad. Cupboards in the room were staffed with rubbish and boxes. Its not even safe, i found my bagler door open and the room was not even cleaned yet it was around 4pm. The cutlery un the restaurant was worse very dirty including the plates and cups. They need to put hairdryers in the rooms its near the beach and need to improve on the bedding quality. Thembi from the restaurant was great, aya and yo from the reception aswell kept my trip going. They need to put wi fi in the rooms aswell. Im disappointed with the place. The codes for tv and lights wer lying around the whole room not even covered with tape and i fell coz of this.The lifts are so small. They need to renovate the whole place. Looks like an old prison I will never go back to that place again. There was no tissue when i checked inn i had to go downstirs to ask for tissue

Dear Guest I am sorry that your stay was not comfortable, however, I would like to know the room that you were placed in as my apartments do not have burglar gaurds or any cables lying around. It was very noisy at night because it is close to a pub. In general all is good. Hotel Restaurant is magnificent although it only takes cash. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

It was an amazing experience and stay at your Hotel with plenty of hospitality. Everything is on the doorstep e.g shops,beach,transport, entertainment places. The only snag is lack of WIFI

Noise from locals in the park opposite apartment made sleep impossible. Cleanliness an issue Apartment not maintained-painting. Apartment smelly. No refunds

Dear Guest We are so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. Unfortunately during the festive and holiday periods the area does get a bit noisy as it is located on the beachfront with lots of tourist around. Regarding the apartment being smelly we are looking into this as the apartment is cleaned daily. We will definitely work harder on this as maintaining a clean environment is very important to us. You get what you pay for

It would have been helpful to know a few things about the place beforehand. This is a retirement community as well as a place to stay. That's not a deal-breaker but we only found that out by looking at the reviews. The advertised wifi was only available in the lobby, not in the rooms. There is a night club across the road that is very loud which made sleep difficult for the both the nights we stayed. The room was clean and basic. It's very close to the beach which is nice.

Dear Greg Thank you for your valuable feedback. I agree that it would be helpful to have a description that states that the establishment is part retirement hotel and part holidays apartments. I did try in the beginning to have this done on this booking site however, they do the write up from the amenities provided by the establishment and my request was declined. We do have this stipulated on our own website and other sites where we are allowed to do our own write up. My sincere apologies for this inconvenience. I do believe that it is advertised on the site that wifi is only available in public areas of the building. I am sorry about the noise from the night club which unfortunately we have no control over but we are looking into sound proofing the windows in the room. Kind Regards, Germaine Barnard
