The property is ok to stay. But the check in experience was bad. They said they can’t find the confirmed booking and were made to wait at check in for more than 30 mins telling us there was no bookings. Funnily enough we also had their banquet hall booked for the same day and still got this service.

Incredibly noisy due to functions in adjacent buildings, impossible to sleep. Hot water had a pungent sulfuric stench and was cold within 5 minutes. Staff are pleasant and helpful but I would not stay here again.

I flew in from Singapore and checked in late, but had informed the desk that I shall be doing so. The room given to me was not fit for human habitat. The bed linen was soiled, pillow covers dirty, walls swollen and several chunks of plaster falling off and clinging like old aged wrinkled skin.. the mirror silvering was off and extremely dirty. Did not dare enter the bathroom. I decided that I won’t be able to stay in that room as it’s literally the worst I have seen in my last 13 years of traveling. Thankfully - the floor manager was good. Upon calling him, he was swiftly able to shift me to a different room and that room was fine, no complaints for that. I do not know if this was a one off aberration at this place or if it’s common practice - but my initial experience of the room given to me was sheer terrible. Kudos to the staff of course - prompt in action and amicable
