Cozy Eagle River Lakeside Log Cabin on Sunset Lake


Enjoy sunsets from the spacious deck, screen porch, or lake side campfire. Firewood is provided. Our lot is private, serene and level.
This cabin is the cozy log cabin you’ve always dreamed of. Close to snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails also there are miles and miles of biking and walking trails throughout the area.
Whether you’re visiting in the spring, summer, fall, or winter, it’s truly a year-round retreat!
Nestled between Eagle River and St. Germain.
Relax, Revive, Repeat…..

Sunset Lake is a private lake. There aren’t any public boat landings on the lake. We do have kayaks, and a rowboat. A 8 hp boat motor or pontoon boat are available for rent if you wish.
We suggest that if you plan on bringing a boat, that you boat on the nearby public access lakes. The Eagle River chain is in close proximity to our cabin. We boat on the chain very frequently and would love to provide tips and point you to our favorite restaurants that are on the water.

7-night stays from Friday to Friday only bookings during peak months from mid June through August.
Pets are $100 extra.
Boat motor rental is $250 per week
Pontoon boat rental $1100 per week $250 per day with 1 tank of gas.

Grateful for a space like this!
It’s been said that this is better than pictures, and it’s true. The cabin is wonderfully secluded, has a beautiful private beach and the cabin itself is picture perfect. The pontoon available is wonderful. They have a canoe and kayaks available too. The fire pit is brilliant with its sunk-in iron bowl. The cabin itself was lovely. All the amenities you could think of from a coffee grinder to a griddle. We will definitely be back!

Very accommodating owner!!!
My family and I were really looking forward to staying at this beautiful story book cabin, but my wife fell severely ill and we were not able to go….but Bill and his wife were super gracious and sooo kind and told us that we could just reschedule for sometime in the future. This place looks amazing so we are super excited to get the chance to be able to stay there someday in the future :)

Property was as stated charming and very clean. Owner provided everything you would expect for family or friends to have an enjoyable stay. Communication with owner was perfect, even when asked for recommendations of good restaurants in the area their response was ideal. The cabin is on a beautiful clean and clear lake perfect for kids or adults to enjoy. Area was very quiet a perfect place to get away from every day noise and get refreshed. We would recommend this property to friends and family and hope to return in the future.

Lovely cabin
We had a group of 4 (2 couples) and we were blown away with how perfect this cabin was. It was cozy, clean and in a perfect location right on the water. If I could add one thing, and only one because there’s nothing else I would change, I would add another queen size bed. It was a little hard to decide which couple got the master bed and which got the bunk. But even so, I will absolutely be coming back to this beautiful little spot!

Real log cabin. Lots of space. Super clean. The owner put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. The gas fireplace made the living room cozy. We kept telling each other how amazing the place was and how lucky we were. Even on our last day there. Six nights was just right for forgetting that we had jobs, and didn’t actually live there. The Shannon lake walking trails were great. Planning to return when there is snow for snowmobiling, and ice for fishing.

This place is even more beautiful in person!! The location is beautiful and I loved being able to wake up to such a beautiful view and have a cup of coffee by the lake. The host also provided so many games to help us stay entertained! We will definitely be back!

Great time away!
This property was very true to it’s description. We loved the cabin! It was clean, had an awesome kitchen with anything you would need or want. We immediately were welcomed by a thoughtful gift and beautiful Fall decor all thru the house! It was such a nice touch! We loved the lake too! It happened to be warm enough (in October) to allow us to go out in the kayaks and canoe. It was so quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed a fire at night and decided we would definitely be back. Thank you to the owners!!

northwoods getaway
We wanted a quiet lakefront stay and this place was everything we could have hoped for. Furnished as well as anyplace we have ever stayed, all the little things that you might have forgotten. Bill was super friendly and only a phone call away. If you are looking for a quiet lakefront getaway this one can't be beat.

Quote from my wife- best cabin we stayed at in the Northwoods! They gift you something special on the counter upon your arrival! They have thought of everything, games, marshmallow roasters, news paper to start campfire I could go on and on. Kids can play at the beach while we had coffee on the deck. Seriously they have something special here.

Our stay was amazing but dealing with this service is frustrating and doubtful I will use it again! We used the owners boat for one day and need to pay them but unable to navigate/unable to figure it out. Not tech savvy. Hope they can get paid so we can use this again.

Fun On Sunset Lake
This property is amazing! Bill & Cheryl are wonderful hosts who have thought of every detail to make your stay enjoyable. From games for everyone to providing 'Smores for the fire pit, they make you feel like a welcomed guest. The property itself is as good if not better than the photos, and the quiet lake setting was perfect for our group. Can't wait to go back next year!

I absolutely love this place yes this is my second review let me start by saying the pictures really don’t justify on how beautiful it actually is one of my favorites was the island in the kitchen so spacious we made empanadas with coffee the couches are so comfortable the deck is so big if you plan on having a gathering look no further they even have fishing poles padlles for a canoe it’s literally on the lake a grill to barbecue bill and Cheryl had some wine for us they even let it us take our time at check out like come on nobody does that cleanliness 10/10 definitely coming back ❤️💕💕
