Overpriced! and left unlocked

This was supposed to have 6 beds - there was one queen mattress on the floor of the loft and one double futon. Nothing more. To get to the loft, one had to climb a ladder with no handrails, just gripping the steps! As an older person, I could not do this. I was too uncomfortable. I did not trust that I would find it to get down safely in the night. The place was unlocked when we got there - for a person traveling alone, this was not ok. The glass slider which went to the deck was unlocked, all the windows were unlocked. Didn't think to check the front door, just put in the code, but I wonder now if it was. As we were leaving to go out, someone came by asking if we were the cleaning persons, as they wanted to stay there. They told me they'd stayed there the night before. This made me subsequently wonder what would have happened if we'd put our things in later, whether we would have come back from a family campfire to find someone else in our space!! Very concerning. The glasses were dirty - clearly dirty with food bits on them! Had to rewash everything before using it. There was a patch of poison ivy by the steps off the deck which our dog found!! Had to give him a bath to make sure we didn't get it. Way way over priced, but we were stuck. The area was lovely. The grounds well kept. I wouldn't have been as upset if it hadn't cost $300+ to stay there!! Definitely not worth the price - and as I said, it was supposed to have 6 beds, but only had 2, dirty dishes and unlocked.

the guests before you absolutely loved it and wanted to stay another nite. we moved them to another cabin (we have 6) on the property because you were coming in.at no time was your cabin under siege You paid Hotel.com. which i don’t even list with them. They piggy back off other OLB company. And write “their own” description (most times VERY inaccurate ) and TOTALLY out of my control. I have no idea what they told you That Tiny Cabin has incredible customer satisfaction ratings since it was built 2018 BTW. i received. a total of $121 for a Saturday night stay. i guess the balance went to Hotels.com if I knew you had any issue i could have moved you to another cabin or we have a Motel on the site too You could have had a motel room with a full kitchen and a jacuzzi . but while you were here you had no complaints well until you could be “anonymous “ Guess it’s easy to make up stories when you don’t have to sign your name We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and would have gladly refunded your $121for a Saturday night stay . But you are anonymous Diane McGarry your beef is really with Hotels.com

Nice place and quiet. But the service isn’t great, the person who receive us just was sleeping, there is not an office and they just said the key is in the door, really poor.

Office is closed due to Covid restrictions Guest did not follow house rules. Next time stay somewhere else.

Beware of this lady. she books a cabin in the woods to camp. Does not come prepared to camp. switched her to motel room at 2:00am arrival. Guests love that Cabin. It’s always somebody else’s fault.
