It is next door to a tavern. The owners were very noisy in the middle of the night.

Thank you Thozama for your review. Its a pity because you did not ask - the people that you are referring to as owners were other guests who booked all the other rooms except yours and on arrival I agree they were noisy but they were asked to talk softly which they did. if you still remember you were asked to check in at another BnB as this noise was anticipated but you refused. an alternative accommodation was already prepared for you but as I said you totally refused. We are sorry for this experience. That the BnB is close to a tavern is totally out of line as there is no such a thing. From Management

Pour : The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were plain but well maintained and cleaned. TV and coffee/tea service came with the room.
Contre : Rooms were a bit stuffy, could use more fans in the summer.
Emplacement : The B&B is located in a residential area ten minutes from downtown East London, but far from the beach and good restaurants.
The Sleepwell B&B is located in a residential area of East London off the beaten tourist path. To be honest, it is not in a great area and the nearest restaurants and shopping are in a mall a good drive away. You need your own transportation if you stay here. That said, the place was well taken care of, the rooms were large, clean and came with many more amenities than I expected. Staff was very friendly and looking for ways to help and make the stay more comfortable. I took the place at the last moment because all the regular hotels were sold out and I was not expecting much. The B&B though was a very pleasant surprise and my stay went much better than I had thought it would. I think it would be great for backpackers or tourists on a budget, as long as they have their own car, and want to explore the East London area.
