Lovely Thanksgiving Getaway
Publié le 1 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to host a family Thanksgiving meal! The views of the pond and the bay were incredible and the location was close to Greenport for anything you might need.

Hidden Gem on the Bay
Publié le 1 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis wonderful vacation home has beautiful water views, easy access to a large and beautiful beach that's great for kids of all ages, and is a quick drive from both Orient and Greenport. The house is clean and well appointed. Very much would like to return again soon!

Amazing location, dated house
Publié le 3 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe lagoon lodge is incredibly picturesque, and the location is great, even better than the pictures. Literally 5 mins walking distance from the beach, and a short drive away from Greenport (many restaurants) and North Fork wineries.
The house itself is pretty dated, from the furniture to the towels/sheets you are provided. However the property manager Debbie is extremely responsive and the kitchen is well stocked. Overall we really enjoyed our first family vacation with our infant, and our dog. Highly recommend!

Great location

Absolutely delightful

Gorgeous water views and the nesting ospreys kept everyone entertained from the living room and deck, the short walk to the neighborhood beach was do-able for all, and the kayaks were a treat to explore the water for the more adventurous among us. Quality sheets and the sparkling clean of the home (with well-equipped kitchen) were happy surprises, and while the surrounding area abounding with farmstands and other beautiful beaches enriched the stay, you could be perfectly happy never leaving the house and neighboring beach. Hosts were helpful and communicative.

Excellent Location
Publié le 22 août 2022 sur HomeAwayVery nice rental. Central air, close to the beach, beach chairs and plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, pots and pans. Very clean property. Nice little porch and grill. Nice neighborhood. On the water but in a lagoon. House is tucked away off the main road and is one door down from the path to the private beach you have access to as a guest. Maybe a two minute walk until your feet touch sand. Great beach, never crowded. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Lots of towels to use. Bring your own beach towels. Beds were comfortable. Some other things to note: lots of board games, chromecast attached to TV (we streamed a lot of music), osprey nest nearby and there is also a pair of swans (the rental has binoculars but bring your own if you want to bird watch), coffee maker very clean, brooms and a vacuum available for sand, dishwasher and very quiet at night. Great place, we'll definitely rent here again. Highly recommended.
