A great place to stay
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy friends and I stayed here, and we very much enjoyed a quiet place to stay at the end of the day. We were racing nearby at the Dragway for a few days, the location was great. The deer that visited in the yard was a nice touch. It's also a nice place to take in the sunrise from the deck with a coffee or two. We would definitely stay here again.

East Nassau summer get away
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe just spent four weeks at the Country Cabin. The cabin is charming. The hostess was very gracious. I appreciated her checking on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. The cabin is very cute, and accommodated our group of 4 very well. The basement room stayed cool, even without air conditioning. Loved the property, it was nice to walk around and fun to find a secret private entrance to the nature preserve. We appreciate the nice special touches. Did I mention hummingbirds?

A little slice of heaven
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe landscape is exceptional. The house is well appointed it had everything one would need. It is serene and peaceful. The highlight of our trip was hiking in the woods and swimming and fishing in Kinderhook Creek.

Convenient, cozy cabin
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOnly 30 minutes from Tanglewood Music Center, Stockbridge MA, and Albany NY, this cabin in East Nassau a great location for a summer getaway to this region. The cabin is neat and clean, the kitchen sufficiently equipped for preparing and eating meals in. For hot days there is air conditioning. The cabin sleeps six very comfortably. We took full advantage of the porch to enjoy the lovely surroundings - the property is well kept, very quiet, a very relaxed spot. We are hikers so were pleased we had several options very close by for some easy rambles over the weekend - Kinderhook Creek Preserve and the Albert Family Forest are great places to walk. This cabin was the perfect spot for our group of friends to gather for a weekend at Tanglewood, some time walking in nature together and catching up. Justine was the perfect host. Her place is a gem. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing Getaway

Cozy Cabin Weekend Getaway
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe inside of the house was clean and very cozy! The kitchen was well equipped and the dart board in the basement was a fun touch! The outside of the cabin was well kept and secluded from neighbors. Steps away from the property was the nature preserve! We walked several of the trails and found a picnic table by the creek to stop and have lunch. The location of the cabin was perfect! We saw a concert in downtown Albany and it was roughly 30 minutes from the Cabin. This cabin was perfect for us as we were able to enjoy a quiet weekend while still being close enough to drive into the city! Thank you Justine for sharing your home with us !!

Another great getaway!

Its far enough away from ruckus but there's so much food and entertainment only 25 minutes away so it was perfect!

Christmas vacation
