The Gnome Cabin

Labor Day Weekend Escape

"Compact" cabin, but it had everything we (3 adults) needed to just relax and enjoy the very quiet natural surroundings. Our 1st morning I was watching a flock of turkeys moving across the trail at the bottom of the property when a fox happened upon them and stirred things up! Great launching point for day hikes in Promised Land State Park, Dingmans Falls and Big Pocono State Park. Great evening at the fire circle on our last evening. Would have liked a bit more sun, but otherwise couldn't have asked for a better trip!! Would definitely stay here again.

I wish I had more time there. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. It was just what I needed. The communication from the host was superb. I reached out for information regarding hiking and other activities and was given very useful information. Garlic, my favorite restaurant in the area was only a 20 minute drive from the cabin. I suggest you book this cabin ASAP!

Amazing Stay

The property was very clean and has everything you’ll need. Communication with Danielle made the experience so much easier. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend where you can enjoy the cozy indoors or go for adventure hiking through the trails, this is the place for you!

Family getaway

We had the best time walking the snowy trails and just being out in nature with the peace and quiet! The house was perfect for what we needed. My boys loved sleeping in the tri bunk bed! We will definitely we back!

Exactly what we were looking for!

We spent most of the day outdoors- either hiking the trail (that’s right in the backyard!) or around the fire. We had a beautiful view of the mountain out the back and had deer running through the property. The kitchen had everything we needed so that we didn’t have to leave the property at all once we got there. The owner was very quick to respond if we had a question and the check-in/out procedures were clear and simple! Highly recommend.
