On The Rocks is a relaxing cottage located on Lake Huron. Come enjoy the view of the water, the morning sunrise, and relax in the sunshine during the day or by the fire pit in the evening. Only 5 min north of downtown East Tawas. Quite, private setting. Enjoy the BBQ or head into town and let some else do the work for you. Just minutes away from the state park with a great beach and lighthouse.

Within a 5 minute drive to downtown and you will find amazing restaurants, great shopping, putt putt, ice cream, great beachs and parks. Don’t forget to visit the Tawas Point light house. Or head north 5-10 minutes into Oscoda.

Cozy Comfort!!!
This cottage is the definition of cozy & comfortable! It was like a “warm hug” after spending the day exploring East Tawas. The cottage itself gives off the “upnorth Michigan” vibes with its decor and wood plank walls. It is fully stocked with everything to make you feel at home - fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and furniture and many other personal touches. The lake views are amazing whether enjoying the wonderful deck, cozying up in the enclosed porch or toasting your marshmallows by the fire! Perfect stay for a relaxing & rejuvenating get away!!!!

Perfect long weekend getaway
Perfect little cottage on the water! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and cleaning supplies needed. The backyard and the view was amazing and the highlight of our stay! Location was perfect as well with a short drive right into downtown. Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful ⛱️ beachy home
We really loved our stay there! Had to leave this morning and didn't want to go. They thought of everything! I even brought stuff for s'mores and it was already there. Cutely decorated and comfortable furniture and all. Spent most of our time there on the deck when we weren't in town and just loved staring at the water or watching the sunrise. Thank you again for an amazing stay. Can't wait to visit again.

AMAZING
Me and my now husband stayed at this beautiful lake house over Labor Day weekend. It was such a lovely house on the inside but the back of the house is the star of the show. The lake view is amazing. We had a couple of bonfires with the provided wood and fire starters. They had cornhole which was very much used, and lots of other things provided in the house. Everyone that came to visit was amazed by the view and I will be keeping this cabin favorited as I will be staying here again!

On The Rocks at Lake Huron
As others have described, this cottage has a beautiful view right in the backyard of lake Huron. It's a short drive to East Tawas for beaches, shopping and dining. The cottage is beautifully furnished with added little extras for your comfort. We were able to sleep with the winows open so we could enjoy the lake breeze.

Fantastic Stay on Lake Huron
On The Rocks is the perfect house to stay at when visiting Tawas. Convenient location to East Tawas and the state park, you really do not need to travel far to experience what the area offers. The house is perfect for a family, extremely comfortable and clean, and the host have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, including s’mores supplies, beach towels, and sand toys. Definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the area.

The cottage was just as in the pictures. The property was gret and the view could not be beat! Was only a few minutes to town with nice restaurants and some shopping. The cottage has everything you need to come and relax and enjoy the view! Cant wait to come.back!

We loved the quiet setting. The house was pristine clean and had everything we needed. Comfy beds. We had friends visit and they complimented the nicer furniture. Plenty of towels, chairs and other amenities. My only comment was I wish there was a place to get to the water. The break wall was too much to climb over. The beaches in town which were really close were beautiful though so we just headed there for our beach fix. Overall excellent stay!!

Girl Family Vacation
Five of us ladies stayed at On the Rocks. We had a ball. It's a beautiful view of the lake and the camp fire was the best. We do a girl family vacation once a year all over Michigan. This is the cleanest, most well stocked place we have stayed at. Fire wood was so appreciated, coffee and creamer were great too. So many little things you take for granted at home were there. You could walk in there with noting but a brush, cloths, tooth paste and tooth brush and have every thing you need.We didn't cook at all since it was our vacation, but if we wanted too, the kitchen was well stocked from pots and pans to spices. We don't do the same place twice, but we are starting to re-think that. I can not come up with once single negative about On the Rocks.

Living On The Rocks!
This place was unbelievable! It was as clean and neat as a 5 star hotel. The view of the lake through not one but 2 doorwalls was picture perfect. We spent many hours on the deck looking out at the lake. The owners thought of everything regarding amenities inside and outside. I would highly recommend this property, we will definitely be coming back!

I took my husband and 2 children to Tawas for the weekend and stayed at this very cute and comfortable cabin. It was very clean and provided a lot of amenities. We all enjoyed it. Beautiful view. It was very charming. We would stay again.

Loved this rental home, it was a great stay and the little extras provided made it feel special. Small, but felt spacious! The location was excellent, and the view was great. We loved this cute and cozy cottage. It was perfect for our small little family. It was so nice to be right on the water with great views, and only 5-10 minutes from Tawas, lots of restaurants, and the beaches. Our kids loved playing in the sand and the bonfires. Communication was excellent throughout the process. We would love to stay here again.

Lovely Cabin
You have everything you need in this cabin. The only negative is the huge rock wall in the backyard. I understand there were issues with water washing away the beaches, but I was assuming there would some small beach area. There is no lake access here. The wind is strong and chilly coming off Lake Huron.

Peace and Tranquility
We stayed just a couple of weeks prior to peak season in Michigan and really enjoyed our time. East Tawas is a nice small town right on Lake Huron with many lakeside parks. On The Rocks cottage rental is away from the hustle and bustle but can be where the action is within minutes.

Great cottage, so cute and beautiful view
Clean, quaint cottage with nice amenities & lots of extra touches. We toured the lighthouse, shopped in the downtown area and met a cousin for dinner.
