Calme et confortable
Publié le 27 avr. 2018 sur ExpediaL’hydro hotel possède des chambres très agréables, avec très belle vue sur la Manche. Nous y avons été correctement reçus, avec quelques ratés néanmoins (pas de chambre côte à côte alors que demandé lors de la commande, une serviette manquante dans une chambre livrée dans l’autre, clés « badges » inopérantes). L’hôtel est très calme et était principalement fréquenté, lorsque nous y sommes passés, par des personnes âgées. Dîner agréable, serveurs très aimables, nourriture correcte.

Property in good condition comfortable atmosphere in most of the hotel comfortable bedrooms but very large restaurant for the breakfast which really lacked atmosphere

The hotel feels safe for lone traveller. Breakfast was included and hats off to chef.

We were lucky enough to have some sunny weather which meant we were able to fully enjoy the great outdoor swimming pool.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Hydro as the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was included with good food and service. All together this hotel is a real gem, offering excellent service, location and decor.

Wonderful hotel
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HotelsLove this hotel. Makes you feel you have stepped back in time. Beautiful view of the South Downs from the bedroom window. Room very clean with plenty of hot drinks provided on the drinks tray. Staff friendly and helpful.
Hot breakfast very tasty. There was also plenty to choose from from the cold table including juices, cereals, fruit, cold meat and rolls.
When we stayed the weather was really sunny which made our room really hot. A fan was provided but the room was still really hot during the night as the windows could only be only opened slightly so that the birds did not come into the room.

The staff were lovely with excellent service. The rooms were comfortable with good quality facilities. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel was fairly quiet but you could hear people talking in the room above. It might have been a problem if they had put a loud TV on, but fortunately they did not.

Lovely view,attentive staff. No air con in our south facing room. Also asked for more milk at reception for our room one evening but it never appeared
