shabby and tired hotel

The single room I booked was spacious and came with a bath- the bed was comfortable. Overall the feel is dated, corridors are grubby looking and the bar was shut.

The rooms in the front of the property are well-maintained and have a spectacular view of the sea.

The room was spacious and although clean it needed a bit of a overhaul but generally good. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Overall good weekend.

Convenient for the beach, pier and town centre.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Cleanliness - there were cobwebs in th dining hall, and in need of redecorating throughout.
Location: Close to the beach and town centre, and many different places to eat.
Hotel staff were very good and helpful. Weekday self service breakfast was poor. It was a shame to see a hotel building like this in need of much TLC. Our bedroom had a broken window catch and flaking paint on the frames.
