Newer Home - NW Modern w/ Hot Tub near Rosario

Located in the Rosario Resort Community near the 5,500 acre Moran State Park, this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home is perched on a .64 acre parcel with surrounded by trees, but offer a filtered water view from nearly every room during the winter months when leaves have fallen. A contemporary Northwest Modern design with over 2,200 square feet is newly constructed and was just recently completed in November 2017.

The open layout and vaulted ceilings that approach 12' in height along the wall of windows take advantage of the southern exposure. Each of the three bedrooms features a king-sized bed, quality furnishings and soft linens for the comfort of every guest.

The Master suite is located on the main (upper) level with an en-suite, while both guest suites are located on opposite sides of the recreation room on the lower level, allowing privacy for couples and families.

Guests will enjoy relaxing outside on the nearly 500 sq. ft. deck, enjoying outdoor dining with a table with seating for six and a Stainless Steel propane BBQ grill.

This is where guests will also find the Hot Tub, where they can start each morning with a rejuvenating soak, or end the day with relaxation under the starry skies.

While we have streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime) on the 55" television in the Recreation Room, most guests prefer the entertainment and fun with the 8-foot long Brunswick Billiards table with the Ping-Pong conversion top. Whether an avid player or just some friendly competition among friends or family, you're sure to enjoy these amenities for hours on end during your comfortable stay along with the Bluetooth connected stereo.

Great long weekend!

We had a great multi-generational getaway. When the weather was nice, we found a perfect hike for our group (ages 5-75). The house also had everything we needed to enjoy a rainy day in—hot tub, ping pong, board games. 10/10 would stay here again!!

A Perfect Place to Stay

A spacious and comfortable place to stay for 6 adults. The kitchen was well stocked. Living spaces very comfy. Soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking and shopping was a perfect way to relax!Hosts were responsive and accommodating.

Great house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The pool table and ping-pong, table or key, as are the many games provided, and of course, the hot tub. The house is modern, clean, and well stocked in the kitchen and bedrooms. We had a little difficulty keeping the hot tub at the right temperature, but that may have been user error. We also noted that when the heaters switch on and off in the night, it is a bit loud and we often woke. These items aside, I would highly recommend this rental and my kids already want to come back!

Beautiful house

Everything was well appointed. We used the hot tub twice. It was very nice relaxation after a long day out. the pool table was a plus. We would recommend your place highly. One criticism was only 1 towel per person for a 4 day stay. We didn’t think we should have to wash our towels everyday. We didn’t use the hot tub towels inside. We weren’t able to take the garbage out because we left at 5:45 am and couldn’t find the receptacles in the dark. So sorry.

Property is Beautiful

This property has quality furnishings that are maintained perfectly. It is so clean. We had grandparents on the main floor and a family of 4 on the bottom level. We had fun while using the ping pong table, pool table, pickleball, games and hot tub. It was easy to get to main street, hiking, the alpaca farm, Buck park for pickle ball, miniature golf, paddle boating and swimming in Cascade Lake. My cons: It is a modern home with no curtains except the bedrooms. The main level bedroom doesn't have a total curtain. There is at least 2 feet not covered on top so light comes through before 6 am. My preference is a full curtain. The beds are very comfortable. My suggestion would be to have a king sized cotton blanket in each room. The comforter on the main level was way too hot. We stayed in August but it was uncomfortable and the sheet alone wasn't enough. A bath towel and swim towel are provided for each guest. My adult daughter wanted an additional towel for her hair. An extra towel or two would be nice. We played games at the coffee table because the other table was too large. It would be nice to have one or two footstools or poufs for the kids to sit on. I gave this property 5 stars because it is really exceptional.

Family fun

This place was perfect for our little family gathering of seven, and one dog. The floor plan is open and inviting, kitchen was well stocked, fun pool table, and hot tub (which we did not use but I am sure would’ve been great.) Very impressive that pets are allowed and yet the place was in excellent condition. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Peaceful getaway

We loved our stay, and our dog was comfy and happy! The house and amenities were fantastic, and the communication was timely and informative. Owners were quick with communication and helping us troubleshoot how to watch a playoff hockey game of all things :) No fault to the owners, but we ran into a snag checking in - there is little/no cell range in this area. Just a caution to read the fine print and take a screen shot on your phone of the key code when you get it! Other than that the location was great - close to amazing hiking and entrance to Mt. Constitution. We made beautiful meals right at home with the stocked kitchen and gas grill, sitting outside on the deck under the trees. Hot tub under the stars and sweet little bats flying overhead. Gorgeous.

Super clean, spacious, well taken care of

This house is very clean, probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed (except the ice cream scooper was very dingy 😁). They are so organized and intentional with their home and I felt very comfortable knowing they care for it and ask guests to care well for it too. The beds were very comfy. Kitchen very well stocked with everything you could need. Two w/d in the house! The hot tub was a welcomed relaxation at the end of each day. The area is also great and quiet and beautiful. I love that each room had a kind bed so we each got the same amenity in sleeping arrangement while there. We had a wonderful weekend with friends and would come back!

If there just was a water view

We loved this house. It looks good, it feels good, well equipped with everything we needed plus sound bars, espresso machine and a ping pong table. Dog friendly was important to us and after a few times the downhill entry to parking became commonplace.

Perfect Orcas Getaway

This is my family's second time at Todd and Lori's lovely home and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else on Orcas. Perfect location, especially if you want to access all that Moran State Park has to offer. A trailhead is walking distance from the front door that will take you to Cascade Lake. Already looking forward to a future trip!

Beautiful home and it had everything you could need. We were on the island getting married and this place was perfect t for our party.. the Host was very nice and very fast at responding. Perfect weekend and very happy.

Conveniently located, roomy, clean. Had all the necessary essentials, plus. The “plus”: espresso machine, pool table, ping pong table, hot tub, gate for deck if you bring dogs or kids, sheet to protect beds if your dog sleeps there with you, sharp kitchen knives. While the main heaters were out while we were there, additional infrared heaters were supplied that were adequate. TV was a little challenging, but we eventually figured that out. The other challenge we found were the lack of tall reading lights next to the bed. While bright lights were there, they weren’t tall enough to shine down on a book. It was a good place for multiple couples with the 3 king size bedrooms.

A great stay on Orcas

This property was perfect for us (four adults and one small dog) for a long, rainy weekend. The house was extremely comfortable, well-appointed, and provided plenty of things to do, and it was super easy to find/access from Eastsound; we all agreed that it was one of the nicer places we’ve stayed at and that we’d be happy to return. Check-in was very smooth - I only wish we had had a little more flexibility with check-in/check-out due to unpredictable ferry schedules, but the standard times are totally doable and we made it work. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful and clean home

We had a wonderful time on Orcas Island at this vacation rental! Our trip included my husband, me, our two kids (ages 8 and 9), and our German Shepherd. The home was very clean and spacious. It’s also located right next to Moran State Park and only about 15 minutes outside of Eastsound Village. The kitchen included all the equipment you’d need for basic cooking, plus oils and seasoning . We really appreciated having such a clean, pet-friendly home for vacation!

Quiet and Great Location

We were doing the swim-run and the location could not have been more convenient. Close to the Moran Park, Rosaria resort and the water. And close enough to town to grab things if needed. The house was clean, updated and comfortable. Really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck after the race. Owners were quick to respond to all inquiries - thank you for everything!
