If you are looking to be off the grid and have the amenities of a hotel, but also be close to a major town if needing something. Look no further. This is the home you should rent. The best!

Xmas House
Publié le 1 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayWe always go away after Christmas to spend time as a family together, relax, open gifts, and play games. This huge house was perfect. The kids loved the game room for watching movies and playing air hockey, pool, foosball, and just running around. Lots of room to spread out. There were some issues as with any house. Internet was non-existent. We could not stream Netflix, etc. Communication with property manager was poor since it would take days to answer any questions prior to arrival and very limited during our stay. Recliners in game room were not in the best shape, obviously abused by prior guests. Fireplace and TV in master bedroom was not working and many lightbulbs needed to be replaced throughout. Downstairs bedrooms were worn. Despite all of this, we loved the house and had a great time. There was so much room to spread out. There are no kid friendly items such as plastic cups and plates, crib, or a pack n play. The kids did have a blast sledding on the hill right out front. It really is a beautiful, spacious house that needs a little bit of an update.

The perfect Thanksgiving family getaway!

We had an amazing time at this sprawling, beautiful home! Spending Thanksgiving with our extended family here was absolutely perfect. Everything is exactly as described—but even better in person.
The home was clean, stunning, and had plenty to keep everyone entertained. We loved cooking together in the spacious kitchen and spent hours enjoying the theater and game room, which was a huge hit for all ages. The views from the top of the mountain were breathtaking—absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for our family gathering.
What we loved most was how much privacy everyone had. Each family member had their own private bedroom and cozy seating areas, so we could relax and unwind whenever we wanted. It was the perfect balance of togetherness and personal space.
Lois was fantastic! She communicated promptly and always answered our calls when we had questions. During a snowstorm, we lost power, but the generator kicked in seamlessly, allowing us to continue our festivities without a hitch.
We truly loved this home and can’t wait to book it again! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable getaway with incredible views, spacious accommodations, and plenty of privacy.

Beautiful home. Enjoyed our stay, but absolutely horrible communication.
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I have stayed in Vrbo‘s all over the United States, Canada. The home was beautiful. The view was spectacular, great kitchen. Our horrible experience was the lack of communication with property management. It took several months for them to answer a lot of my questions prior to arrival, which gave me a lot of doubts. When we arrived late in the day on Thursday, we were there for a week, we realize Friday that the big theatre TV in the game room, did not work. I called the property management and they called me back and told me that they were ordering the bulb for the TV and it would be there by Sunday. Afterwards we realize only two of the very small TVs in the entire house worked with one DVD player. We have seven children with us and they were looking so forward to using this big game room theater and watching movies in the evenings. gas fireplaces did not work. I called property management again on Friday and my call was returned on Tuesday. I also texted them numerous times with no response till Tuesday. On Tuesday I was told the Bulb still wasn’t in and they hoped it would come in that day and then be out the next day on Wednesday, at that point we’ve been there for six days and we’re leaving early Thursday morning they never did come. And no response. We never did get the TVs fixed. The fireplaces were not fixed and the communication through all of this was absolutely horrible! also told we would receive some kind of refund. Never happened. No response

Excellent Property for Groups
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were a large group of friends staying at this property and it had more than enough space for everyone. It was a beautiful property and well maintained. The house is also incredibly well sound-proofed and it was easy for some folks to sleep even while others used the home theater room. I would recommend this property to others looking for a place to accommodate a group.

40th birthday get away
Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwaySpacious, clean. Tons of games to play in their game room. Only down side is extremely spotty WiFi but that’s it. Other than that we had a wonderful time.
