Nice lake house
Publié le 5 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had to relocate due to Hurricane Helene hitting our hometown. We spent a week at the lake house. Host was very understanding about getting us in early. The house is a great set up with lots of room and amenities.

Needs some TLC to Improve the Home

The kitchen is in dire need of an upgrade with a new fridge, stove, and a countertop replacement. The views of the lake from the house deck and the boathouse deck are wonderful. The boathouse deck was a bit of a disappointment as the comfy furniture picture is not there and has been replaced with uncomfortable Adirondack chairs and no tables. It was also strange that a lake setting like this rental would have no water accessories like kayaks, canoes, or water floats. The internet is very good so it has streaming capabilities and multiple device usage with 300 Mbps speed. The master bedroom and attached sunroom are very nice but you need to be an engineer to figure out the multiple different switches even though they are supposedly labeled. It would be helpful if all the remotes worked for the ceiling fans/lights. The home is not handicap accessible because of the narrow entryway into the kitchen, For families with children considering this home it should be taken into account that the bedroom with the 2 bunk beds can only be accessed by walking through the bathroom off the kitchen and through a curtain at the rear of the bathroom. The stay was enjoyable but did not meet our expectations.

Nice house on the lake
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is roomy and comfortable. Pretty view of the lake. Only complaint was bugs. Ants in the kitchen and roaches climbing the walls in the family room and middle bathroom.

The hot tub and master bedroom with its own bathroom and connecting sun porch were our favorites for sure. We didn’t catch any fish, but just sitting on the dock was relaxing.

Beautiful property
