Stress beak

It was a great location however the room was far smaller than I’d expected.
We actually moved the bed away from the wall to enable us to get out of bed in one side.
Apart from that the bed was comfy enough and the bedding was adequate.
Bathroom etc was clean and fine.
Light sleepers might find the music next door an issue on weekends however earplugs were supplied … yes truly!
Overall we had a pleasant stay but the little things like, no toaster in room , which was rectified on request, the tear in the carpet at the front door and general tired look might convince us to not choose to stay a second time.

We are glad to hear you were happy enough with your room and our location in town.You will be happy to know that our motel is due to go under some major renovations to liven up our tired old motel. This is also including soundproofing of the most affected rooms by the pub noise next door.We hope that you might choose to stay with us in the future. If you are after a larger room, perhaps try one of our deluxe queen rooms next time as they have ample space in the room. However, you will need to request a toaster for these rooms too.

What a well located hotel close to everything, safe and quiet considering it’s beside the American haha. Will be staying again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The rooms were very clean however very outdated. Need for a major renovation.
We stayed in a room which backed onto the band stage of the pub next door. Loud music could be heard until 2am. We were told about the likelihood of some loud noise once we had checked in. We were offered some ear plugs which did little. As it was the long weekend we couldn’t book anywhere else.
On the up side the staff were fantastic, very polite and efficient.

Thank you for your review Lesley. Unfortunately, the popular American Hotel next door keeps within their legal decibels and time frames. You will be happy to know that the motel is due for major renovations which includes soundproofing of the rooms.We do hope to have you stay with us again in the future to test out the new soundproofing.
