Best Family Vacation!!!
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I decided to take an end of the summer family vacation that included our adult children, two grandchildren, my brother and a couple of friends. Our intention was to take a beach vacation at the ocean, but that did not work for various reasons. I am so glad that I searched "lake houses in Maine". We could not have found a better place to spend the week!! The house was spacious, clean and well-stocked both inside and out. We spent each night chatting around the firepit (wood and S'more supplies were included!!) We decided to rent a pontoon boat to explore the pond, and we had a wonderful time. I suggest taking a sunset cruise, the photos we captured were stunning. It was truly a relaxing way to end the summer!!

Chemo Pond
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis vacation was just what we were looking for.. A nice house on a quiet pond to relax with the family. The water was warm, clean, and the kiddos had a great time swimming & kayaking. We had an internet issue that Josh quickly addressed. An enthusiastic dirt bike rider & dump truck noise near the house was unfortunate.. but, we made the best of it and had a good week!
Perfect weather as well..TY

Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a quiet and beautiful place. It was not too far from Bar Harbor/Acadia National park. Family did a lot of kayaking (which came with the rental), fishing and swimming, The rental was very spacious. We had a great and relaxing stay.

Wonderful cabin on a beautiful lake. Would stay again.
Publié le 7 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bedding was very comfortable and seemed like new. The couches were very comfortable and arranged to get nice views of the lake. The kitchen had a nice selection of clean pots and pans and dishes. The grill was clean and had plenty of propane to use. The canoe and kayaks were fun to use and the life jackets were ready available and plenty of them. The fire pit had plenty of firewood provided and the s’mores material provided by the property were a welcomed and enjoyable surprise. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again as a first choice for the area.

Perfect Lake Getaway

Lake house is very roomy with the perfect lake decor all around. Husband had a great time fishing off the dock and using the kayak. Really appreciated the clean lawn and not too many bugs around. Great fire pit to roast marshmallows on. Host was perfect with communication. Can't say enough great things. Hoping we can make the trip out here in the future!
