I will say that the trailers and neighboring cabins are extremely close to one another and the mosquitos are savage so I suggest bringing lots of deterrents. The speed is 10km in the area but we were yelled at to slow down even more than that by drinking adults in the area

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We have had so many other guests that have enjoyed the cabin and it's surroundings and are happy to hear that you all enjoyed the cabin and its amenities as well. Yes, the resort does have a 10 km speed maximum as there are usually a lot of kids playing in the resort, better to be safe than sorry, right.

Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed here 3 nights and it’s definitely my one of the favourite place to be in the area. The house is spacious and very clean! Definitely would recommend this. Enough supplies what you need for your family trip.
Friendly Suggestion: It would be nice if host prepare for some emergency lights when they have electricity issues. We lost power twice extended period and we survived with our cell phone power.

Called them and talked about a refund for our third night, the answer was a solid NO, so we will not be staying there again, we were planning on doings this yearly, but not in this home.

Publié le 30 août 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautiful cottage. It is not mentioned in the listing that it is in a trailer park.
I didn’t receive the instructions I was to receive for entry etc. the email said I would get instruction 7-10 days prior. I tried to contact the host with no response. I had to contact VRBO admin to get instruction sent.
While on vacation there I tried to contact the host through VRBO and at the phone number and the email address in the “instruction binder”. No response until I was leaving. Very poor communication.

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay in our cottage! We've had so many families over the years enjoy the cottage and no one complained about it being in a mixed resort with other cottages and RV's. The arrival email was sent to you but for some reason, you did not receive it in your email. We were the ones to resend it in the VRBO message board, so we were happy that you were able to enjoy the cottage the day of your arrival. We did respond to you when you had asked about the garbage disposal, as you did not understand that the garbage had to be taken to the transfer station on your way, back to Radium. I am happy that we got that straightened out for you though. Thank you again for staying with us.

Beautiful mountain cabin
Publié le 5 août 2023 sur HomeAwayOr group of 6 found comfort after long days of exploring the mountains. House was well equipped, and very clean. Linens were great quality. The kids loved the air hockey table. We’d definitely stay there again. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise!

Nice cottage, unfortunate location
Publié le 1 août 2023 sur HomeAwayNicely maintained cottage with a good kitchen that came with some basic supplies such as coffee, cooking oil. Much appreciated! The cottage advertises it can sleep 9 but beware, that includes a pull-out couch in the main floor open concept space which includes the kitchen. The location was disappointing as we hadn't understood from the photo that it's between large trailers in a private community that includes many trailers and cabins. The place is nice but the feeling is cramped.
