Great for a weekend with friends!

Annual Labor Day Weekend Gathering with Family
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It was very clean and well stocked with a beautiful view of the lake. There were lots of chairs provided for evenings around the fire pit. This was our second time staying here and we are already booked for next year!

Quiet place, clean, and right by a small lake. Perfect for a weekend with kids with plenty of other things to access close by. Awesome friendly people in the neighborhood. Great weekend getaway.

Only down side alot of foot traffic when sitting outside by fire.

Publié le 10 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayPlenty of items in the kitchen if you plan to do your own cooking instead of constantly eating out. I brought a pan just in case and I did not need it. Plenty of extra "real" plates and bowls and glasses so you don't need disposables . There is even a second fridge for leftover pizza boxes and extra drinks! Lots of extra towels and sheets. One of the coolest features is that there is a door that closes off the kitchen dining area from the living area, which is nice if you've got some people that want to sleep or have quiet time (like toddlers taking naps), and other people that might be a little louder or talking. Porch overlooking the lake is really nice. Fire pit in the back overlooking the lake can't be beat. If it's cold, the heater is nice and warm, and the hot water gets pretty hot (but be careful with toddlers around the hot water). There is a park for the kids in literal walking distance. Nothing really bad to say, other than the lvp flooring type had a texture that seemed to hold in dirt and there are really no area rugs, so you might want to bring slippers.

Publié le 25 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe very much enjoyed our stay-house was very clean and cozy and being on the lake was lovely and peaceful. And our grandkids loved the nearby playscape. It was a perfect setting for our family Thanksgiving.
