What a nice place to stay

Stuart had the place spotless and full of amenities and little extras like a UK to North America plug for us. The place is well situated , easy to find and within easy access to the medieval town of Edinburgh. In addition, the area has many very good restaurants , one of which is The Ship on the Shore, where we had our best meal as of that time and at a reasonable price. We also enjoyed Dionysus, and Nobles. Thank you to Stuart for a wonderful experience.

Lovely Stay in Leith

Comfy apartment in a great location
Publié le 5 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in Edinburgh for 6 days, for a conference and some sightseeing. Although there were 2 of us, the flat would be fine for 4. There's plenty of cutlery and crockery, a full oven and fridge freezer, so catering is easy. The area is very quiet, but just 15 minutes into the centre of the city on the tram, which is an easy walk away, as is a mini Sainsbury's.
Stuart the host has been incredibly responsive to any enquiries or comments. Would have liked some oven gloves, but we managed with a teatowel.
Good value for a homely base in a capital city..

Leith flat

The space was good for our family of 4, and we especially appreciated the good sized living room and having 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is a bit quirky but worked fine for our needs. Great quiet location close to the tram and buses on Leith Walk but away from the bustle. We had a terrific dinner at Roseleaf, a super, vegetarian friendly place within walking distance. Nice place near tram and local pub
Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was fine for two couples. Figuring out the hot water and heat was a bit confusing but we figured it out. Guys enjoyed the local pub a couple times. No tourists around at all but tram is great.
