Publié le 21 déc. 2019 sur Hotelsl'appartement était superbe, ultra propre; Bonne literie, il ne manquait rien. le personnel de l'agence de Distillers Hous était fort sympathique et disponible, nous les remercions d'avoir bien voulu imprimer nos tickets d'avion. le fait de pouvoir laisser nos valises dans un local sécurisé dans l'hôtel est un plus non négligeable.

Magnifique séjour à Edimbourg et TB appart hôtel

Etant très maniaque, je conseille vivement cette réservation pour tous ceux qui hésitent à ce sujet.
C'était le critère le plus important pour moi.
C'est sans parler de la décoration qui était encore mieux que sur les photos.
On s'y sent comme chez soi, c'est très apaisant au point que j'y serais bien restée.

Un petit bémol: le bruit de la rue. Situé juste au dessus d'un carrefour très bruyant.

Design et bien situé mais....

- Très bel appartement, état impecable.
- super rapport qualité prix, appartement vaste, désign et bien agencé, bien situé (shopping et supermarchés, restaurants, transports en commun vers centre ville et aéroport,pubs...)
Points - :
- il s'agit d'une maison sans réception sur une rue assez passante.
- Gros problème avec le chauffage, contrôlé à distance (donc vraiment vraiment pas pratique) sale de bain sans baignoire et glaciale.
- Pour toute demande, il faut appeler un numéro écossais
- Lors du ménage, Tout est mis en vrac dans les couloirs (lit d'appoint, draps, aspirateur...)
Vitrage à l'ancienne, donc pas isolé (il fait froid en écosse) et donc bruyant
- literie pas super confortable

The staff was helpful and the property nice. However, it is on one of the busiest streets in Edinburgh--so, difficult to sleep at night due to the noise. Because of this, we wouldn't stay there again.

Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer.

Booked a comfort double, got a 2 bed apartment in the basement, so review is based on that.
Good: well appointed with solid build and craftsmanship with furniture and decor in as-new condition. Comfy bed, great bathroom and shower, spacious lounge diner.
Bad: bedrooms themselves are tiny so cases had to be opened and unpacked in the living area.
No elevator but stairs are steep, narrow and winding.
Basement room looked out on a wall and was noisy with traffic and tram

Pretty Good
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThe apartment we stayed in was great. We especially loved being able to make breakfast every morning. It was clean, well-maintained, and communication for the most part was good. We did call the "emergency" after-hours number a couple of times but no one answered. Emails were answered quickly, though, even on the weekend.
As others have said, the location is quite loud. On our final night, there were crews working on the street right below our windows at two in the morning. Earplugs allowed us to go back to sleep.
Note: there is no lift, which means trekking up three flights of stairs if you're on the second floor.
Two suggestions: have better washer-dryer combo instructions available since even by searching the model #, it's impossible to find them online. Second, a couple of extra throws or blankets.

This property is very spacious and conveniently located. We reserved his twice as part of our trip inbound and outbound purposely for the washer/dryer. Instructions even on the app are not clear to travelers that do not utilize all in one machines. Overall the property is clean with lots of amenities.
