I got an email confirmation, but it not have any check-in information, so I sent a message to host heard nothing back. I sent another message still nothing, it was just a couple of hours before we were supposed to check in and I still wasn't hearing anything back. So i went to this chat support thing so talk to someone they said they sent him an email and gave me two numbers to call, neither of the numbers worked and still heard nothing back, I sent another message and went to the apartment and there was no way to in, we had to try to find somewhere else to stay very last minute.

Owner never provided check in info or responded to any calls, emails text. Worked for 5 hours looking for emergency lodging. VRBO couldnt find any. Marathon, Jubillee, end of school had costs 5 times my original booking. Stayed for the three nights emergency losing for 2,500 Canadian (of which VRBO has offered me 645). Left Edinburgh, coulditn afford to stay. Horrible experience. Still trying to work with VRBO on understanding your guarantee and emergency lodging. Check your auto mated message system
