Very friendly and helpful staff. Room outdated, with spider web hanging down the sealing. Heating was turned off so room was cold on arrival but heats up quickly after turning thermostat on. Difficult to adjust shower, most hot water was running through tap, where cold tap supplied shower head :/, easier to take bath then shower.

I booked a room here after my flight was cancelled. The 2 girls on reception when we arrived on 23/11 were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They really went all out to make sure their guests were comfortable and had everything they needed. Even popped up to the room to let us know they had booked our early morning taxi back to Edinburgh airport.

This hotel is very dated. The public areas have been upgraded but the rooms are very old fashioned and the corridors leading to the rooms out dated and worn. The staff are amazing however and helpful.

Lovely receptionist but as a solo female traveller amongst mainly male guests please don’t ask my room number when I come to the restaurant. I don’t want others to overhear it.
