This hotel is on the edge of old town and is easily accessible to the royal mile, the grassmarket, Princes Street garden, Waverly station, and tons of shopping and restaurants and pubs.
Fantastic location opposite Waverley station.
Great service from all members of staff. Room (363) very small with no view, however, it was very clean, quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast expensive for continental, no hot option. Weatherspoons across the road for a cheaper option.
It was a fantastic experience and a great hotel that was located in the center of the city and it was convenient for me to go anywhere that I wanted to during my stay in Edinburgh.
Fantastic hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back soon! The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the city, great shops nearby, and wonderful restaurants. The corner rooms provide amazing views and the atmosphere is very cozy and quiet! 10/10
Staff were very rude and uninterested in helping, one member of staff even appeared inebriated while we were checking in.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
My husband & I stayed here 5 nights, the reception staff are friendly & very helpful, they answered all of our questions about check-in, the area, & check-out/where to catch the train etc, the bar staff are sometimes not as friendly-a couple times it was if they were doing us a favor by getting the drinks ordered & paid for. The room was clean, a little small but workable, the bed was comfortable! hair dryer provided was great & the plug in was right outside the bathroom so that was great, shower was spacious, room cleaned daily & an extra hand towel was left as requested (they do not have wash cloths & this is what we found in every place we stayed during 3 weeks across Scotland) there isn’t a phone in the room to call reception with a question or request which is frustrating bc only one elevator was working the entire time we were there, so we often just took the stairs because of the wait for the elevator. You don’t control the temp in room, also common among other properties but we were provided a fan when requested. The location is fantastic. We would definitely return bc of the reception staff, cleanliness of the room and the location
Nice location. Easy to get to Old Town and New Town as centrally located. Friendly front desk. Parking not convenient but car park available if you don’t mind a bit of a walk. Rooms are small with minimalist vibe. but clean and comfortable. Loved out time in Edinburgh!
Location was perfect, convenient walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do, includi g the train station and bus from the airport. Rooms were comfortable and cozy, bathrooms were very well appointed. Lobby bar had a pleasant vibe. One elevator was out of service so stairs were difficult to negotiate with luggage. I can't imagine how someone with mobility issues would be accommodated. All in all we'd recommend it and consider staying again.
