Note - this hotel is actually a boat
Publié le 3 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe did not know this hotel was a boat. However, upon arrival service was excellent, ambience fantastic, and continental breakfast was great. Our room was below and only had high portholes. Room felt small and had a slanted floor. There are other rooms that may be larger with a better view.

Thank you for your kind feedback Tina it is very much appreciated, we are happy you enjoyed your stay and you are right, there are other rooms which are all different shapes and sizes as we are on a boat so some of our rooms are shaped differently purely due to the angle and shape of the lower part of the boat and which gives it a quirky feel, we would love for you to stay with us again, but on one of our upper decks which don't have the slanted floors and have more of the view you are looking for, hopefully we can welcome you on board in the future so you can see these other wonderful rooms, as every room has its own character.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in what is probably the most unique hotel in Edinburgh. The ship is elegantly designed and our stay was wonderful. What truly set things apart were the staff. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. Everyone. The breakfast was very nice and the bar’s combination of atmosphere and drinks makes the stay worth it alone.
It should be noted that some rooms are small, it’s a ship after all, and quite humid. We we advised was due to being below the water level which made sense. I would happily stay again for a couple of days!

I am so happy you enjoyed your stay and we would happily welcome you back with open shores, we are going for that unique feel, we are going for a 20s theme so you get that feel of going back to the 1920s, but your feedback is much appreciated

Great place to stay - helpful staff, period decor and lovely bar. A bit cramped for breakfast and no hot options but otherwise perfect.

Thank you Adrian for the great feedback and we love how you noticed our décor, as we are going for a 1920s feel, sorry about the breakfast but we are limited to what we can do just now but hopefully we can change that in the future and offer a little hot menu, your feedback gives us these little things we could maybe tweak a little, but again thank you Adrian it is very much appreciated and we would love to have you back.
