Sale, odeur literie et chambre

Contre : Tout est à revoir ou à changer de métier genre hébergement pour animaux domestiques c'est honteux de proposer ce genre d'établissement
Un accueil agréable mais ce sera tout pour cette maison qui ne mérite pas de figurer chez Expedia! On ne sait par quoi commencer...poils dans le lit, odeur de la literie caché par un produit masquant les odeurs bref une odeur de poney lavande! Toutes les ampoules sont grillées, l'eau de douche est tiède -risque de légionellose- pas de WIFI et une odeur de cuisine dans toute la partie réservée à l'hotel A fuir absolument. Pas de petit-déjeuner!

The room was very spacious and clean but lack of attention to basic needs ie: no bath mat or hand towels let it down a bit. Also a big problem is that they do not accept payment by card and have no eating facilities on site.

Room and bed were not clean, could do with a thorough refurbishment. I tried to,cancel the 2nd & 3rd night at the hotel, I rang the hotel on 5 separate occasions, I left two messages, but I am still waiting for an answer 7 days later. Service is totally inadequate, nobody manning the reception area.

Stairs to rooms, very steep. Large room, needs refurb but good ensuite shower room. Problems right from the start like no one there to open the place before noon, TV had no signal, extractor fan not working, light over mirror not working and cannot pay by card for the room. No food served. The coffee sachets were all 2 or 3 in one. No use if, like me, you prefer black coffee. The manager did give me her own small jar of coffee to use. The staff at the Plough Inn were a great help when I had turned up in the hope of leaving my case as I had a trip to go on at 1pm. Plough Inn breakfast good value and very tasty.

The hotel was located in the centre of the town, which was fine. It looked from the outside, relatively but from the inside it looked tired and in need of some resources being thrown at it. The staff comprised one person for the downstairs bar area and for anything required from guests. This meant that we couldn't be shown the room directly as the staff member couldn't leave the bar - again a resource issue. A lot of 'papering-up the cracks' was evident in terms of decorative repairs both in the hall and in the room. The lever on the door to our room did not engage and so the door only properly closed when the lock bolt was engaged by turning the key. At first glance the room looked relatively clean, although there were some areas that looked at least like they had been missed and I suspect all the rooms could do with a deep clean and a full redecoration. The bathroom was overly large for the room and also needed a new face-lift.

Very disappointed, bathroom not clean, carpet in room not hoovered, no milk to make a drink, staff not interested in sorting out problems not even very cheap would never stay here again.

Pour : Bar staff were pleasant.
Contre : Clean the place. Don’t advertise WiFi when it is actually not available.
Emplacement : Lovely market town.
The room was dirty, cobwebs, hairs on the bed, broken cupboard drawer, no soap and not even enough toilet paper to suffice. If you want a cup of tea in the room, the facilities are there but no milk. The Avenue Restaurant does not appear to be open at any time of day and the promised WiFi was not available. No bulb in the bedside lamp. No staff around and the Tesco over the road thankfully, provided better W.C. and breakfast facilities. How much is a bottle of bleach, a feather duster or a bar of soap? Sorry, but this was terrible value for money. Tired! Grotty! Avoid.

Very basic, does not take card payments. When leaving the following day no-one to hand key to, 12.00 in the afternoon still nobody to give key to.

Una cosa mai vista!

Prenotato l'albergo tramite expedia organizzo il mio viaggio e mi rendo conto che l'orario di arrivo presso la struttura è oltre quello consentito.inizio a chiamare l'hotel ma nulla.contatto expedia e insieme ai loro operatori cerchiamo di stabilire un contatto ( telefono,mail,segreteria telefonica ) ma tutto inutile!sembra come se la struttura non esistesse! Parto finalmente per la mia vacanza e come volevasi dimostrare,arrivato alle 00:24 davanti l'albergo, trovo tutto chiuso. Ho provato on tutti i modi a contattare qualcuno ma nulla. Morale della favola ho passato una notte fuori al freddo ( 10° C ) in attesa del primo autobus utile che mi riportasse ad Edimburgo,dove nel mentre avevo prenotato in un altra struttura molto più sicura rispetto alla precedente! Esperienza orribile!
