Sketchy

Weird checkin process through a window, very old and worn out hotel. Got to the room and felt very sketchy. Stains, horrible cigarette smell. Left and never came back. Spend the extra $50 and stay in a nicer hotel in Leduc.

Hello,We value your business and your feedback.Due to our policy of accepting guests 24 hours a day, we have a need for guests to check-in through the Late Check-in Reception after 5PM.We have since made several improvements to Late Check-in Reception. We have installed a nice Late Check-in Reception sign that attracts the eye, and some nice blinds on the window, along with an electric bell.We are making improvements and adding amenities and attractions every day. We have recently installed an electric vehicle charging station, which is one of only three in the entire area.We have a very limited staff, as such we can't always keep the lobby, hallway and stairway floors steam cleaned on a daily basis. We try very hard to accommodate the needs of every guest, which includes smokers. We try to keep smokers in isolated areas, however sometimes a guest smokes in a non-smoking room.We are a family and pet friendly hotel, with extremely modest rates, featuring a lounge, bar with VLT's and a restaurant. it is old very old not for handicap people stairs smell of smoke (old) it did have a restaurant the carpet is old ( very) and does not look clean no air conditioner etc

There was never anyone at the front desk, when checking in had to call and wait for someone to come down. On the Friday night, they gave a key to our room to someone else that was checking in, we were still in there. We were not checking out until the next day. When we went to check out had to call again as there was no one at the front desk.

I'm sorry you did not find your stay pleasant , we are short staffed right now and therefore we do not have someone at the desk at all times.The courtesy phone at the lobby for your use.
