Great place but... / Super endroit mais...

Le français est à la suite The welcome was excellent. The area is magnificent and quiet. The presentation as well as the useful items (shampoo, coffee, fridge...). I just don't understand why a reservation for 5 people (2 A and 3 children) in a room with 3 double beds only contains 3 towels... In addition, I was treated to a remade bed, probably not even washed. When I went to bed, the top sheet was already crumpled at the foot of the bed, under the bedspread. I was perplexed. I made sure to undo the bed EVERYTHING before leaving so that this wouldn't happen again for the next guests. Suggestion: (besides better washing or changing the sheets) a games module for children would be great! It would be well placed at the end of the top building. L'accueil était excellent. Le coin est magnifique et tranquille. La présentation aussi ainsi que les articles utiles (shampoing, café, frigo...). Je ne comprends juste pas pourquoi une réservation pour 5 personnes (2 A et 3 enfants) dans une chambre à 3 lits double ne contient que 3 serviettes... De plus, j'ai eu droit à un lit refait, sans doute même pas laver. Au moment de me coucher, le drap du dessus était déjà chiffonné au pied du lit, sous le couvre-lit. J'en étais perplexe. Je me suis assurée de TOUT défaire le lit avant de partir afin que cela ne se répète pas pour les prochains clients. Suggestion : (outre mieux laver les lits) un module de jeux pour les enfants serait génial ! Il serait bien placé au bout de la bâtisse du haut.

Old school motel with new owners. Very clean, pet friendly and friendly reception. Pleasantly surprised, will be back

The cleaner they use in the rooms, or spray, I should say, is too strong unless they are masking an odour. I had to take allergy pills and leave the door open to help alleviate the strong smells. I could not use the pool as there were no stairs to get into pool, only a ladder, which doesn’t help if you have mobility issues. The owners are wonderful people, and when they finish their renovations, I’m sure it will be nicer facilities.

La Roma Motel is our go-to for travelling from Toronto to PEI. New owners bought the place last year, and have done some upgrading...i.e. landscaping, headboards, etc. The beds are super comfortable. The owners are very sweet and accommodating. We will be back next year for our 5th stay!

Decent motel

Decent motel, but a bit worn-looking -- stains in sink & tub, very basic "essentials", reception/check-in in a house down the hill (hard to tell where), nothing nearby (have to drive to next exit for restaurants, as theirs is not open). Nice coffee maker in room, good wifi, TV, and a/c.
