Wonderful stay
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place a great to get away from the world, beautiful views get dock, cell services was poor but that is a good thing, the town of warsaw had alot more stores then i thought great resturants. Its nice to bring the family dog along for a new experience

Fishing trip

Lovely Cabin!

made a mistake
Publié le 28 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe booked aug 20-28. when my wife and I arrived from Ohio we looked around the place. While the view was great, there were problems. There was a distinct musty smell when entering, my wife has sensitivity to that. The window frames are aluminum and they looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in many months, black and appeared moldy. The vertical blinds were broken and missing slats. the dishwasher, refrigerator (used mayonnaise,ketchup, mustard, other things left behind filled the door. owner said others appreciate that. I said we don't eat open food others leave) and stove were dirty. the outside globe lights were full of debris. the glider on the deck was broken. there was mold all over the deck which will require a couple days of power washing. the gas grill hadn't been cleaned. this is supposed to be a premier host with great reviews. We called vrbo and they had us send pics which we did. I was told to ask for a full refund. We left the next morning and fortunately ran into someone who had a property just vacant. He was kind enough to rent it for the same amount we were paying. VRBO is working on getting our money back as the host has refused to offer any compensation.
I would not recommend this place except for the view.

Ray and his wife were difficult before they even arrived. We admit we do not clean the outside furniture or outside light globes. We used a rainbow vacuum that had had essential oil prior to their arrival. We offered to come and clean anything inside the home that was not up to their standard. We also let them know if they canceled their trip we would refund if we could rebook the property. I wish we could have made Ray happy but some people can’t be pleased.
1. Windows cleaned before every visit- on the inside and monthly on the outside. There is no mold or black anywhere on the windows.
2. Porch light is not cleaned every visit. We are by the lake with little light. There will be bugs trying to be close to the light.
3. We did leave community condiments for use just like restaurants but have since thrown out all items in fridge. So all guests will need to bring your own condiments. I never realized this would be offensive.
We believe that Ray and his wife double booked and wanted a refund. VRBO agreed with me and wouldn’t issue a refund and when Ray disputed the charge with his credit card company they were the ones who fought the dispute. We provided pictures of the entire property for the dispute to VRBO.
If you want an honest review of the home please look at the other reviews. We have stopped using the Rainbow Vacuum and we now remove all items from the refrigerator. We strive to make everyone happy.

Cabin life

Memorial week stay

Quiet lake house with a beautiful view
Publié le 10 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved the the location, it is perfect if you are looking to be away from the hustle and bustle of the lake. The house is surrounded by trees which makes is feel very private. We loved that it has a boat slip with a public boat ramp just minutes from the house
