Construction in front of hotel so cchek-in was on 2nd floor. Had to hand carry luggage to check in. Nice location in front of monastary but it also had some construction on going. Roads to hotel also more difficult because of roadwork. Should be much better in future.

Sonne in Eaissedeln
It was a very good experience. This hotel is located just 25 minutes from Zurich. The rural village of Eaissedeln Switzerland is very nice, very good road and is very clean, also safe and the people is very friendly. You can feel the Christianity of these local people. The staff of the Hotel was very friendly and the language is not a problem. They walk the extra mile to make you feel confortable.

Uniek is de locatie. Echter de klokken van het klooster gingen wel heeel vroeg af( 5.30 uur). De kamer was vreselijk; gordijnen kapot, lamp in de badkamer hing aan draden los op 20 cm afatand van de douche. Durfde dus niet te douchen ivm electrocutie gevaar!!!!! Geboekt voor nacht incl ontbijt. Ze wilden ons toch laten betalen..... ontbijt was heeeeel summier: wel vriendelijke dame die voor ons beleg is gaan halen.

Das Hotel Sonne ist direkt neben dem Kloster. Die Lage des Hotels am Klosterplatz ist ideal für Leute, die Einsiedeln als Wallfahrtsort gewählt haben oder einfach das Dorf erleben wollen. Alles bestens und gutes Essen in dem Hotel Restaurant und ganz nette Bedienung. Wir haben die Zimmer mit dem schönen Blick aufs Kloster bekommen. Manchmal etwas laut von der Strasse, aber man kann Fenster zu machen und das Problem ist gelöst. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Séjour bien moyen, nous ne reviendrons plus.
Après intrusion (avec preuves) dans notre chambre pendant notre absence qui était fermée à clef, la veste de mon épouse avait disparu. La serrure de la porte de la chambre ne présente aucune sécurité, elle se résume à une simple clef archaïque. L'intrusion avait été signalée à la direction pas le vol. De toute façon la veste n'était plus là et n'aurait pas été remplacée sans avoir été en mesure de présenter des preuves d'achats. Serrure armoire déglinguée, poster déchiré scotché, pas de télé bien que citée lors de la réservation. Un bon point tout de même pour le personnel du restaurant.

Situation fantastisch mit Blick auf das Kloster Einsiedeln im 6ten Stock. Wenn man was gegen himmlisches Glockengeläute hat, besser nicht direkt vor dem Kloster übernachten, aber sehr gut gegen Schall isolierte, leider kleine Fenster. Familienzimmer mit drei Betten ok, aber weit weg von den 40m2 gemäss Reservationsbestätigung, eher 20m2. Dusche WC (ohne Fenster) mit nicht funktionierender Lüftung. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und in angenehmer Ambiente. Freundliches Personal. Gratis Wasserflaschen im Zimmer. Kaum WLAN Zugriff im Zimmer.

Recepcionista antipático y cortante. La recepción está en la 1ª planta y no hay ascensor hasta allí, con lo que tienes que acarrear con el equipaje escalera arriba hasta dicha planta. La ubicación es buena y un pueblo muy bonito. Estuve solo una noche pero para mí ya es suficiente.
