Walking distance to downtown. Property (inside & outside) is clean, parking lot was well-lit at night, there was a security guard by the door in the evening, overall pretty quiet, shower pressure was decent, nice to have a bathtub, our room didn't have a fan in the bathroom, modern furniture, larger refrigerator than other hotels, large seating area at breakfast.

We stayed here for New Years, the room was great and the hotel was great, the parking was spacious but seemed to fill up instantly that day.

Great Value
We love the location of this hotel. We were able to walk to a lot of restaurants and coffee spots. It is also near the high way which made it easy for travel. The only unfortunate thing about this was our room was facing the highway and the windows did not do a good job keeping the noise out. If you are a light sleeper, make sure your room is not facing the highway. That is my reason for giving 4/5 stars. The breakfast was good and the staff was very attentive to making sure there was enough coffee and food.

good location, very clean. Only thing that I disliked is that the front desk person took my ctedit card and immediately perused the security code and expiration date on the back of the card. When I objected and took the card, he said that he had to confirm that it was my card but I pointed out that the place w my name was on the front of the card. I understand that the hotel wants to protect itself but I, as the customer, also need to be protected from identity theft. The credit card machine was set-up for swiping, located on the front of the desk obviously in a position for customers to use, and it would have been vastly preferable if the front desk person had simply allowed me to swipe my card. Is hotel mgmt aware that staff is handling the cards rather than allowing customers to swipe their own cards? Absent that experience, I would have given the hotel an excellent rating.

We arrived to our room and there were no towels nor shower curtain and there wasn't even hot water, the water was barely warm. The room smelled nothing but cigarette.

Comfortable and great location. Good price. Breakfast was good. Wi-Fi worked fine (for those traveling and working). The hot water in the shower was a bit tricky. But overall, good place to stay.
