They Overbooked
Publié le 21 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe booked this stay 3 months out, was emailed confirmation, communicated with host about questions we had, and received a checkin email the day prior to our stay. We arrived around 6:30om and the host was not expecting us, left us standing on the porch to come out 10 minutes later and tell us her assistant double booked and she didn’t have a room for us. It was now almost 7pm and was offered a blow up mattress in a front room and would have to share a bathroom with someone. The Tarwheel Ride was this weekend and not many rooms available at the local hotels. We ended up paying more money for one night at the Hampton Inn than the two nights we had paid for this stay. BEWARE…even if you receive a confirmation email and communicate with hot, call to confirm your visit. Awful experience!

It.was not.between rooms. It..was.down.the hall. Sometimes the wait.was a bit much.
No.grounded electrical outlets in room
While resting, housekeeper had to come.to.our room.twice in.30 min period to get.supplies for other roo.s

Bed and breakfast without breakfast

The house was very clean and quiet. Excellent walkable location with private off street parking. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
