{Prospector Cabin
Publié le 8 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved the rustic cabin, felt like we were back in time but with modern conveniences. The wyfi worked and I was able to watch the BSU football game. Looking forward to staying there again.

UTV Tripping
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our 2nd time staying at this property. Remote but has everything needed for sleeping, cooking and spending time in the wilderness. With electricity and running water it is much nicer than camping.

Rustic comfort
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a very rustic but comfortable cabin. There are other cabins and main house nearby. This one is close to the road but very little to no traffic. We stayed one night. My only recommendation would be a fan/fans to cool the house off quicker in the evening but I tend to run hot.

Lack of street signs makes it difficult to find. No street numbers on cabin.

Better Than A Tent
Publié le 23 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe love to go camping, stay up late, and look at the stars. I’m getting too old to deal with all of the camping hassles. This cabin is remote and has power, heat, showers, electricity, internet, and walls that would keep bears out but, NO cell service. The first night was perfect; looking at the stars was the whole reason for our trip. The Milky Way was on full display.
Two bedrooms with beds, sheets blankets, better than a tent. Kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot & toaster, better than a tent. Indoor toilet & hot shower, better than a tent. Internet & electricity, better than a tent.
The cabin floor was slanted; ants in the silverware; the power/heat/internet/hot-cold water went out for 10 hours; we had rain/wind/thunder/lightning/hail and even snow in June. Even with all of that, it was better than being in a tent.
Pro Tips: Download some shows or movies on your devices before you leave your house. Fill containers with water. Take flashlights and battery banks. Go potty and take a shower before any storm.
I guess what I am trying to get across to anyone still reading this is. The stars are amazing here when you can see them and no matter what issues we had while we were here, it was better than having those issues in a tent.
P.S. DO NOT take American River RD from Elk City to the cabin, you’re gonna have a bad time. Take ELK CREEK RD.
I still have 100 characters left so, check out the general store in town, it's awesome. Ok, byeeeee

It was very rustic which we loved, there were no lights around outside so the stars were magnificent. Get your directions before you go because our GPS would not work due to lack of cell service in the area and we had to stop three times to get directions from locals. WE loved it and will be going back soon for sure.

Our stay
Publié le 3 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayRustic a bit of too much rustic. The beds need upgrading and water pressure especially to the toilet is terrible.
