Wonderful Cabin
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery cozy cabin at an ideal location. We had privacy yet close to amenities. Loved the hot tub. We will definitely stay at this cabin again.

Had a Great Time - Loved It!

A couple of comments, not problems. 1) It would help to have the wifi logon and password posted or given to the renter. 2) A channel listing for the TV would help. Also, shielded cables for the cable, tv, and router would help. There was interference with the tv signal when we talked on our cell phones, the bathroom heater kicked on,and when we made coffee.

We recently changed our internet providers, moving from cellular to cable. Because our properties are located in a rural area, their is no perfect fix. No matter where though, we have all experienced intermitent manilpulation of speeds by the providers. For a brief period as we were testing the 'cable' internet reception. So for awhile, 'both' services were available. It sounds as though you may have picked up on the availability of the 'cable' service. Regardless, at the time of your stay, we were relying on the 'celllular' service, and instructions on its use (to include the location of password on the device) were emailed to you on 9/23/23. It's interesting to know that you mention the type 'cables'. That suggests that you were logging into the 'cable' internet service. This was installed by Optimum, and I suspect its not about the cables within the home...but the service lines in the 'area'. Coincidently, they have been seen upgrading lines in the area. We will have maintenance check on the heater/coffee maker issue. No one else has mentioned this issue, so we thank you for informing us. All of our electrical work is done by certified electricians. Anniversary get away
Publié le 30 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayNice quiet cabin. River is closer than the pictures make it seem. Nice big porch. Dog friendly with a nice dog bed. Appliances are clean and look newer. Linens were nice. I would recommend bringing your own towels and a couple throw blankets. Towels were the only thing not provided and the leather couch could be a little chilly. Town was nice and has everything needed. Overall a great experience.

You are also correct about the other mentions. We actually email a list of things to bring.,. Towels are on the list...as well as the suggestion for throws to cover the leather couches. :-)

Anniversary Trip
Publié le 14 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was great! The only thing that we didn't like was the strong iron smell and taste in the water and that the Wi-Fi password didn't work. I could not get a hold of anyone in the office when I tried to call about the password.

We have someone at our office 24/7. This is where you picked up your keuy. Additionally, we monitor calls 24/7, howeve you must listen to the message in order to select the correct prompt for the call to forward to a staff person. It is neccesary for us to use this phone answering system becasue of the numerous robo calls we are receiving...and you certainly understand that if we answer a robo just one time....it opens the flood gates for many, many more. Yesterday we had 25 attempted robo contacts. Also,...good news...city water will soon be available...but then it will probably smell like chemicals :-/ Thanks for your comments,

thank you ! I may add, I owe a lot to my tremendous staff who ties it all together. Having a staff on premise, is seldom seen with vacation home rentals.
