Fake photos this place is a dump
Posted Jul. 22, 2018 on ExpediaDo not book this place, photos are fake, this place is empty of guests, under construction, dangerous & dirty. It is miles from anything & they told us that they are unlicenced meaning there is no food, alcohol & no transport to take you to anywhere. I will be contacting Expedia about a refund & removal from its site. Expedia has a responsibility to ensure other travellers are not cheated out of their money. We left and were lucky to find a great place, but Ella is a popular destination so this was at great hassle & expense.

We stayed in ella jungle resort as a upgrade. Getting there is painfull with the road access to the hotel. Rooms are not that clean. Lack of maintenence overall. Great views however food is not that good at all. No meat at all. Value for money NO!

Hotel is closed.
Posted Apr. 12, 2017 on HotelsThis hotel is closed. We booked and paid five months in advance, only to arrive to a closed hotel. No communication had come forth about the closing. Clearly, do not book at this hotel.

Terrible service, food and location. Un helpful staff, no ambience and overpriced.

Amazing hotel in the jungle!
Posted Feb. 6, 2016 on ExpediaStayed in the treehouse for two nights! The room was really neat and we were surrounded by the forest! Very peaceful and relaxing! Rooms were clean, service was great! Ignore the bad reviews... The people who complained were the type of people to complain the beach was too hot and sandy!

Feels like a scam!
Posted Oct. 9, 2015 on HotelsAs the only guests staying, not clear why they put my family of 4 across the street with open roof to all crawling creatures. Was able to move to standard double room (no open roof) with 2 extra beds on the side of the hotel. View is great but big issue with bugs! Breakfast good. This is a camping style hotel and it is not clear why advsertised as up scale hotel with up scale prices. Also, they did not originally allow my driver to stay at this hotel because it was not booked via the travel agent. Its 30 min drive out of town and main attractions and is not very comfortable for travelling. The pictures look a lot better than what you acutally get.

Cons: investment should be made in the hotel
roof of the shower made of plastic, with the rain it made a lot of noise....
