A peaceful weekend getaway
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at this lake house for a weekend away from our daily busy lives. This home was so relaxing and had the most incredible views. We enjoyed the outdoors with fishing off the dock and the cool evenings by the fireplace. The host was very responsive and communicated with the us throughout our stay whenever we had questions. We will be back here again with our family. Truly a wonderful experience.

Family trip
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayAside from a large ladybug and fly infestation in the house, it was a fine stay. Just hard to sleep when being pelted by ladybugs all night. And as it got cold overnight, tons of dead bugs on the floor every morning. Great location on the water with views that made it worthwhile.

Ladybug season in the fall is a nuisance, it is part of the new reality in the north country, some years are worse than others. We were not aware you were going through a 'rough patch' during your stay, our apologies. It usually happens in a couple of short 2-3 day waves in the fall, sudden rises in the temperature brings them out. We will take further mitigating actions going forward, like completely sealing the high wood vaulted ceilings upstairs. Christian

Peak foliage!

Dock and Adirondack chairs outside ideal for curling up w coffee and a book, loons, geese and duck companions. Kitchen nicely appointed with all you might need to cook in, which we advise. Further advise getting groceries in Plattsburgh, as other markets on drive in were bleak. Hiking close-by. Would love to return.

Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayExactly what we were looking for. Peaceful setting. Amazing sunrise views. Small dock good for fishing. Shoreline near dock is sandy and gradual. Outdoor chairs comfortable (plus size comfy). Plenty of firewood on site. Host very responsive with questions. Kitchen has everything you need. Laundry area in basement worked perfect for us. Even had a drying rack available.

This property is a bit of heaven

A little piece of ADK paradise!
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was the 6th year we have stayed at this lake house, we love it! The house is beautiful and well equipped. Chazy lake is just steps away. We kayak with our dog and interact with all the wildlife... The ducks just love us!♡ Until next year Chazy Lake!

Beautiful property on a beautiful lake

The lake is mostly quiet, although this year there were some properties clear and cutting trees, so that wasn’t quiet, however we have no control over that. We enjoyed the view of the lake as well as swimming and paddling boarding. We hope to be back again.

Hello, we are disappointed that you feel the house was not clean, we work hard to have everything right and of course clean for every stay.
However, you're words have been heard and taken to heart. After 7 years of being a host, we are always seeking to improve and will strive to make sure future rentors have a different opinion.
The ceiling fans have been cleaned (yes there were due) and we have ordered a new dishwasher to help the rentors keep the dishes clean.
