The property was fine. Beds comfy but the rooms are small and a bit run down. The front desk woman was very rude in the morning.

The only complaint is that it smells a bit like a smoker in the room but I'm guessing because people were allowed to smoke in there for so many years. It did not ruin the experience but it is definitely a downer. Otherwise, the little lake is nice and the sunrise into our room and it's quiet and convenient.

The person that checked me in was snarky when I mentioned that I had a small dog. Like she caught me, which was not true. I had not read the sign about the $100 fee for nondisclosure of a pet before I mentioned it. I was tired and it did not set well with me. Some graciousness training might help the front desk. The shower handle flooded during my husbands shower. We did not turn on the TV, so I don't know if it worked. The property on the lake side by room #132 had some metal laying around and was not trimmed or maintained. The dining hall was clean but not well stocked. The girl at the front desk sat blankly staring out the window instead of engaging with guests to make sure everyone was satisfied with the breakfast experience. The Swiss Miss sugar free was in both slots and the Swiss Miss regular only had one envelope at 8:30am. The girl covering the front desk and dining area was polite to me when I turned in my keys and I appreciated that.

Truck parking was the reason I stayed. Very clean and comfortable bed.
