Comfortable but a bit noisy

Check in was easy and the room was clean and pleasant with good facilities and bathroom.
The floor was quite creaky and there was a fair amount of noise from other guests moving around, so not the most peaceful, but I was tired so slept well regardless.
Bed was comfy, shower was hot. I didn't have breakfast. If I had arrived in daylight I would have liked to explore the grounds more, as it is a very picturesque setting

Great staff but poor cleanliness and midges

Worst part was the midges / mosquitos that were prevalent both inside and outside the hotel. Multiple bites that we be reminding us of our stay for days

The room was comfortable and very reasonably priced. The building and grounds were lovely .
Staff were friendly and helpful , and there was a £10 voucher towards food and drink. Breakfast was included and good.
I would go again

Noisy. Allocated a room above the kitchens with a large extractor fan just outside the window.
