Avis Authentic Creekside log cabin w / deck in Ellijay!

This house was perfect for our family trip. My parents, my two siblings, two children under 2, and myself. Having a bedroom on the basement level was great since I have a 3-month-old who cries often :) We enjoyed the firepit and the path down to the creek.

This place was amazing. The owners truly thought of everything. The we loved how exclusive and tucked away the property is. I'm also thrilled that I talked my dad into hiking to the lake. He even caught fish!! We hope to make this place a regular spot for our family.

The cabin was very spacious, clean, and well stocked.

We loved this house! Everything was clean and updated. Photos don’t do justice, it’s much bigger in person. We cooked every day and the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed, also It’s like 15 min away from Walmart. Definitely a place to visit again!

This was an amazing property for our group. Lots of space, and the entertainment room was our highlight! We will definitely return.

This was a perfect cabin for our annual fall family gathering of three generations ages two years to 70 years! Stoney Creek Lodge had all the space and warm welcoming amenities our family of ten could require complete with room to relax and make precious memories...s'mores at the fire pit, splashing in the hot tub, watching football by the fireplace, etc. The owners could not have made our stay any better as they were available to immediately answer any questions or concerns!!! Their personal attention to our needs was EXCEPTIONAL including locating a very special and treasured item we had lost at the cabin. It was found and returned to us IN PERSON after we had already returned home to Atlanta!!! Thank you so very much and we will most definitely be returning to Stoney Creek Lodge in the future.

This property was wonderful and exactly as described. It is basically 3 stories. The bottom floor has a large bedroom with attached bathroom and sitting room with a futon. It also has a pool table with 4 chairs to view the game, fireplace, couch, loveseat, TV with a varied of movies, and a bar with a small fridge. It leads out to plenty of outdoor sitting, jacuzzi and a fire pit. The main floor has a well supplied kitchen, dining room table, fireplace, couches, and 3 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has 2 bunk beds. It also has a balcony with seating, a table for al fresco dining, and a BBQ. There was also board games and puzzles. The top floor is more of a loft. Fun seating and an air hockey table. Basically everything you need for a fun family vacation. Check in was simple. I forgot to check in 24 hours prior, I actually didn't do it until 3 hours prior to arrival but they were great about it. There was plenty of deer every morning, which was fun to spot with our coffee from the balcony. This property also comes with the use of the amenity center and that was really nice. There is a workout area that has about 5 treadmills, bikes and plenty of weight equipment. It was nice to get in there and workout some of the good times from the night before. The kids really enjoyed the pools. My family and I will definitely return to this property. It was great! You will get caught up in the beauty of the cabin, the surrounding area and the relaxing nature, but try to go into the town of Ellijay. It is a sweet little town with wonderful people. We also ventured to Blue Ridge and that was great as well. Lots of fun shops and restaurants with home grown produce and food made from scratch.

Could not of been happier with our cabin, it had everything we needed great community and rec. center and Elijah is great town fantastic food and local prices were more than reasonable. Our property manager Ms. D.J. Jones had everything ready with a guide on the counter that answered all of our questions about coosawatee resort and surrounding area and activities. We can't wait to go back.

Family of 8 stayed 4 nights over Christmas at Stoney Creek. We had a wonderful time. Cabin was great. It was clean and had all we needed for our stay. Plenty of room, plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. Family had a blast. We didn't want to leave. Would stay here again!
