Door County lakeside
Publié le 14 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayA totally charming cabin with a rare beach access with its own dock! It is a magical location, and the furnishings were eclectic and comfortable. The host lives nearby and was very friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns. It is the perfect combination of peaceful, out-of-the-way seclusion yet just minutes away from Sister Bay, the County's most cosmopolitan village.

Quiet get away

They should have paid us to stay there!
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAway1. No real air conditioning. It was very hot when we arrived. It was advertised as having air conditioning but all it had was a room cooler up stairs.
2. Bugs and spiders. My husband woke up the next morning with one on his forehead. They were everywhere. On the kitchen counter and all over the floor, bathroom, shower and toilet. The sewage was very strange. Had to push a button on a pump to make it drain. Shower backs up. No washer as advertised. We couldn’t wait to move out the next morning.

I am terribly sorry Margy had a bad stay. I realized shortly after her arrival that she was not going to enjoy the beautiful lakefront breeze and 70 ish degree temperatures. I also tried to let them know that gnats congregate around lights. So sorry to hear about a spider on her husbands head. That’s a new one. The cottage was completely sanitized and clean two hours before their arrival. I do hope they can find a place in Door County that meets their standards and am very sorry they did not get to enjoy a sunset on Garrett bay.

Four day stay

Recommend upgrading furniture and decor as it is dated and/worn.
Pls identify or mark kayaks that are noted in the description so they can be used without disturbing others.

Beautiful Location
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family of 3 (and our pup) had a wonderful time at this cottage. The access to the water and its location were awesome. Upon entering the cottage, the clean smell of bleach and disinfectant made me feel that great care was taken to make sure it was ready for us. Jen was a great host! I'd love to rent from her again in the future!
