Everything you could possibly need for our trip was provided (Coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils, etc.). It's convenient to both shopping (5 mins.) and local attractions including Acadia (30 mins.). 5 stars!

The Perfect Place!
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is ideally located in a peaceful neighborhood with picturesque views away from all the traffic and noise of the city, yet just a few miles from Bar-Harbor! It’s impeccably clean throughout, very well organized from bedroom to bathroom to kitchen! It’s very cozy and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and furniture. The only downside, (if any), is the stair climb because it’s above a 4 car garage, but there’s access up to the rental through the garage and straight up the stairs inside. I noticed that not only does the rental area smell and look fresh and clean, but the garage is also very clean, organized, and smells good as well! I think this rental must be pretty new from the looks of everything! If a flight of stairs isn’t an issue for you, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!

Yes, our rental is advertised on VRBO.com as a second-floor apartment. It has an inside stairway entrance along with an outside stairway entrance to a deck with amazing views of the Union River Bay!

Maine Trip

Peaceful retreat for hiking in Acadia! Excellent property!

Lots of homey touches made it the perfect place for those looking to stay in and relax after busy days visiting the surrounding areas! Views from the deck were beautiful! Nice, quiet neighborhood. Perfect retreat for a couple!

Acadia Getaway

Great private getaway
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocate was great, wonderful view of the water while we had wine on the patio, wild turkeys greeted us as we pulled into the driveway, amenities were nice to have, especially (coffee!! And breakfast bars) Everything we needed was provided and kitchen was fully stocked with everything necessary! Bed was SO comfortable! Thanks for the great place to stay while we were visiting the area!! We’d stay again if we come back to the area!

Well equipped, Spacious, Clean, Beautiful
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a very comfortable stay at this apartment. It has all the conveniences of home and plenty of room for two! The neighborhood was quiet, safe and beautiful. The kitchen was very well equipped with just about everything you need. Having a washer/dryer right in the apartment was also very convenient. Communication with the hosts was easy and clear. We had dinners on the balcony just about every night to enjoy the beautiful weather and sunsets. We often saw deer walking through the neighborhood. We also saw some seals on the rocks WAY out in the harbor. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again! Thank you to our hosts for sharing their little slice of paradise!

Nature at your fingertips
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the Apartment! It's balcony porch opened the amazing world of the Union River ebbing and flowing every day. The nature show was delightful everyday!
Karen did an amazing job! The Kitchen is effectively and beautifully stocked with everything you need to cook a simple meal. The bed was great! The living space is comfortable and nicely furnished.
The location of the apartment is great too. It's off the beaten path but convenient to all that Ellsworth and beyond has to offer!
I'd highly recommend this apartment.

Yes, our rental is advertised as quiet, private, and off the beaten path. Also, we are within a few minutes of Acadia National Park, shopping centers, and restaurants. We love our rural setting, and our guests give high reviews just for this!
So, sorry you had nothing but rainy weather while here. Maybe that's what made our rental seem "dark" to you!
