If you like surprise charges when you arrive, a bare and puny breakfast, an air conditioner that shuts off every 60 seconds, and no elevator, this is the place for you. When tell the front desk that you are not happy, they say sarcastically "welcome to Ely."

Hello Shawn,I'm sorry that you booked your room for 2 guests and refused to acknowledge that there was an extra charge when 4 guests showed up. When we first told you this, you attempted to lie and said they were not going to spend the night and we refunded you for it. We tried to explain the charge to you multiple times but your response was that you've never had to pay extra before at check in. Instead of accepting the fact that some businesses operate differently, you then attempted to bully and threaten us by telling us you were going to leave, were not happy, that as a customer you are right, and were going to leave us a bad review. After you moved your luggage into your room, you did indeed come back and say you would like to pay for the 2 extra guests as they were spending the night to begin with.We thank you for your stay and hope you get to experience more life outside of your bubble.

It's a decent place and we stayed 2 nights. If i go back to Ely again, i would rather stay there. It's a family run operation and they were extremely helpful.
