The Perfect Northwoods Cabin
Publié le 5 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is spotless and beautiful. It feels very secluded, but is an easy, beautiful drive into Ely. The view is incredible from everywhere in the house and this part of the Burntside Lake is sparsely populated.
We were here in November so no snow and now swimming, and yet it was so peaceful and lovely. We enjoyed the sauna and the Adirondack chairs very much! Also loved the fireplace, the comfy furniture and beds and the unique and giant dining room table.
The hosts were so kind and helpful - they truly above and beyond and we were grateful for them! We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Fall hiking

Did think there would be kayaks from the add.
Lighting in cabin was very dim, could be much much brighter. Hard to play games at the large table or read.
No hair dryer in upstairs bath.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We are currently changing out the lighting to make it brighter and have replaced the two hair dryers at the property. Thank you for letting us know.
Please note that our written description does mention a canoe not a kayak. Unfortunately VRBO's amenity list has it as a kayak/canoe and we cannot change that, but we have put a note in the description that we have a canoe with paddles.

wonderful weekend in Ely

Wonderful Cabin on The Lake

Everything needed is provided. Would stay at the cabin again. Would recommend staying for vacation.

Great location for hiking & biking or popping into Ely.
Would highly recommend and we would love to go back.

The home is clean, relaxing, and quiet. We spent our time canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, sitting by the lake, reading, and playing games. Easy access to Ely. Would highly recommend!
