Amazing Beach Experience
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe LOVED our stay at this beach house! We had a large group of friends, all with kids under 4. The beach front was amazing and the house was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. Communication was quick and helpful. We hope to stay here again next year!

Great experience

We needed to contact the homeowners a few times over minor things, and they were very responsive. The house was clean, and the layout worked perfectly for our group of 16 adults. We're looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful property in the best location on the island
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was beautiful, clean, well equipped, and located on our absolute favorite part of the island--there is nothing better than coming across the bridge and immediately getting out of check-in traffic by turning onto Coast Guard Road to reach your house! Plus, it's a quick drive to everything from this spot, both on the island and on the main land. We have been coming to Emerald Isle for over 20 years, staying up and down the beach, and this is really the best location. This house is also one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. Be aware--it is 3 stories with no elevator, so there is a lot of climbing, but no one in our party has any mobility issues, so it was no problem for us. Our group also loves to do a lot of cooking, and this kitchen had everything we needed for that, but there is no pantry for storage so you may need to be thoughtful about how much "stocking up" you do if you plan to cook. Fortunately, there is a ton of counter space, and we have a mega-organizer in our group, so it worked out fine for us to keep our cooking supplies/snacks organized on the counter tops. Also, the ground floor has an extra fridge, so that came in handy. Communication was very quick and friendly!

Family reunion

The great room was spectacular and accommodate all of us for dinner time and socializing. Great location, probably 100 feet from the ocean, an easy walk for everyone. The Publix and Food Lion were five minutes away. The bedding was better than most and the kitchen was nicely outfitted. Plenty of parking for easy access to and from the property. The hosts could not have been more helpful. Best vacation we have had since before COVID.

Great stay overall!
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a very nice stay at the Blue Marlin. The beach is beautiful and the house is right on the beach. The house was clean when we arrived. The layout is nicely planned and each room has a large tv. The decks are very nice but we had several splinters! The master bathroom and bedroom had a slight foul odor the entire week but otherwise were beautiful. The kitchen is odd in that there is no space for food storage but we moved stuff around to make space for the food. There are 2 refrigerators and a beverage fridge between the top and low level kitchens. Overall, it is a wonderful clean house on a beautiful beach!

Great house, great host, great views!

The location is amazing with direct beach access and really close to the grocery stores! The house is in great condition, has tons of great outdoor space, beautiful living spaces, and a fully stocked kitchen. The kids (all under 7) had a blast as did the adults. And Amy the host is so responsive and helpful! We will definitely be back!

The great room was plenty large enough for our group of friends to hang out. The house was very clean and the kitchen had all of the amenities needed to cook for a large group of people. Plenty of parking for 7 cars. Location was perfect - a few steps walk from the back deck to the sandy beach; less than a 10 min drive to the grocery store. The hosts were extremely accommodating and communicative. Would absolutely stay here again!
