Remodeled Manasota Key Bay Side 1 Bedroom Condo

Remodeled condo on Manasota Key. Owner managed, this condo is located on 2nd floor of two story complex on Lemon Bay, no elevator. Condo has private boat dock, (plenty trailer parking on site) heated pool, BBQ area. Fish from the dock or observe manatees and dolphins or Kayak. Short drive or good walk to restaurants and pubs.

The condo buildings sustained damage from Hurricane Heleana & Milton to a portion of the 1st floor units. (No storm damage to rental unit). The boat dock area is still good for boats, but in the process of repairing landscape/bench area. The pool area has been repaired, and pool is open and heated at 86%.

No Smoking.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This condo was larger than I expected with beautifully updated furnishings. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Easy beach access directly across the street. On the beautiful Back Bay with a clean pool. I would definitely stay here again.

It was great to be really close to the beach. We enjoyed the beauty of every sunset ( if that evening was not raining). The apartment has everything for two person, maybe three, but four will be a little uncomfortable.

This condo is perfect for a small family. We had a very relaxing weekend here.
I would suggest that the AC unit be replaced or serviced. It was very warm and difficult to sleep. Aside from that I would definitely recommend to friends and return for another stay myself.

We were satisfied with our stay at this condo. It was clean and comfortable and worked fine for 2 adults, but I wouldn't add any more people. The kitchen is decently set up for basic cooking, although there is no disposal (is this a FL thing?) and the dishwasher is tiny. As others mentioned the air conditioner does not cool the living room and kitchen area very well, especially if you close the bedroom door. Not bad in the evening, but a little uncomfortable during the day....or if one of you is freezing in the bedroom and the other sweating in the kitchen! We weren't there during the day a lot but it helped to set a fan in that doorway to pull cool air from the bedroom to the living room. One great thing over a lot of other condos we've stayed in: the bedroom can be darkened for sleeing in or napping! As noted in the description: there is not a washer and dryer in the unit. (Coin operated machines are available $2 per machine in quarters). The complex was quiet and well landscaped, the pool was nice and never crowded. The nearest beach access is about a mile and half. It was nice to have beach chairs and other supplies from the condo to use. The bay is at the end of the parking lot and has nice swings to enjoy sunrises! Communication with the owner leading up to the stay (through VRBO messaging) was not prompt, in that I asked about payment options (no longer taking Discover) and check in procedures in the last few days leading up to our stay and did not receive a response until we were in route that morning. Had I needed to contact him during our stay I assume responses would have been better since I had a number I could text or call at that point. I would say, once you weigh the pros and cons, it is a very average property for a reasonable price. It was clean and functional and nothing came up that needed to be fixed by the owner. I won't go out of my way to stay again but I wouldn't rule it out either. It worked fine as a home base to our beach time! More importantly, our rankings (starting with favorite) for the all the beaches we visited are: Gasparilla State Park Beach Manasota Beach Blind Pass Beach Venice Beach Englewood Beach

Fun family stay
The apartment was more spacious and airy than the pictures show. The apartment has everything we needed from the kitchen having spices and plenty of dishes plus a grill by the pool and beach chairs and toys and umbrellas in the closet. The pool was very nice and clean and we were the only ones using it so it was like we owned the place! Used Stumpy’s to get to the beach because there was no public beach parking.

Amazing Stay
Tony was ALWAYS available. The location of the property was the best of Lemon Bay and the Gulf. Condo was quiet and well equipped. Just get your groceries and settle in. Other residents were friendly. Very nice pool. We will definitely return.

The property was perfect for our stay as we wanted something quiet and out of the busier districts. The key has plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and within biking distance!! Tony was fantastic as we had some extreme wind storms come through (70+mph) and he check on the entire situation to ensure all was well. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Very nice stay!
Perfect accommodation for the two of us. Unit had everything we needed. Pool is wonderful...perfect temperature, plenty of chairs. People are friendly. So close to Blind Pass Beach (our favorite). Was a pleasure communicating with Tony, the owner. And so enjoy the local restaurants with the live music. Would definitely recommend!

Overall it suited our needs. Location was very short distance to several beaches, restaurants and convenience store. Drove a few miles further for better restaurant options for the family. Can’t comment on the quality of the beaches bc there was red tide during our stay. Boca Grande was only 30 min drive and a nice day trip to rent a golf cart around the island. The condo was quaint; we were never able to get to the living room TV to work but it wasn’t worth contacting host for “tech support”. The AC appears to only really work in the bedroom but we were never hot so it was ok as well. The pool and pool lounge area is much nicer than the pics and there were never more than a few people there at a time. The beach towels and few beach supplies were nice to have available. We never utilized the free shuttle ride.

Great Place to Stay
We were very please with our stay. You couldn't ask for a better location. The beach is across the road and down a small path maybe a 3 min. walk. The inner coastal waterway is at the end of the parking lot. They were painting the outside of the buildings but it was no problem at all. The pool area and grills were very nice, we grilled out a few times. Tony , the owner was easy to communicate with .He was always available. We would stay there again.
