Steps from White River near Mount Rainier National Park

This is the river retreat of dreams! Just steps from beautiful White River in the Mount Rainier wilderness, River Bank Cabin offers tranquil surroundings in any season and easy access to some of Washington’s best outdoor sights and activities.

ABOUT RIVER BANK CABIN

Wake up to the gentle babble of Mount Rainier’s White River from the comfort of River Bank Cabin. Relax on the sunny riverside deck and enjoy the idyllic stone firepit also set along the bank. Hop into the private hot tub and let your worries melt with unimpeded river views.

Charming rustic touches – the gas-burning stove in the living room and rich exposed beam ceilings – combine with freshly updated quartz counters, laminate wood floors, and cabinetry in the kitchen, new carpet in the living and sleeping areas, and plentiful wide windows to create a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The dining area has a wood stove to harken back to yesteryear. It's the best of both worlds, a modern kitchen in a rustic cabin that will make you make you feel like you're sleeping in an A frame.

If it's too chilly outside, enjoy a hearty breakfast in the dining nook, with its huge windows overlooking the river and wood burning stove to warm you up. Or sit at the breakfast bar and keep the cook company in the well-appointed kitchen. Of course, you'll find all the pots, pans and dinnerware needed, no matter what you're cooking.

For comfort and safety, the house is also equipped with a generator, wired into the house, which will automatically kicks on should there ever be a power outage, so you'll never have to spend the night in the dark.

Quiet & Cozy
The house is ok. Clean and spacious, but the layout is a little weird and the upstairs shower is small. What makes this place worth it is the setting. The white river flows just a few feet from the deck and the hot tub. It's relaxing quiet and beautiful. The highlight was watching out the window as 6 elk walked by.

Absolutley stunning property and just what we needed, I picked it for being right on the water and it was perfect, the sound of the river was just what we needed to recharge, the home is gorgeous inside and out, you will not regret staying here

Nice place!
We had a very nice time in this place with our family and another family with kids. Location is great. The place is pretty well set up, except I would consider bringing some good frying pans if you plan to cook. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay in!

cabin stay
Cabin was generally as listed. Everything was clean, the area was generally quiet and the beds were comfortable. Biggest con is that there were off leash dogs in and around the property everyday of our 7 day stay (there is a walking path bordering the yard that brings people through) and the yard is filled with poop which was unfortunate and makes the yard unusable.

BEAUTIFUL SPOT
Such a gorgeous property by the river! Fish were spawning, so you got to see quite a few fish going upstream. Seen elk outside the property on the first morning we were there. I highly recommend this place.

A very nice and peaceful place!
Not sure we've ever had such a relaxing stay anywhere! We were supposed to go to Mt. Rainier, but the property was SO relaxing, the truck never moved from the carport during our stay. Kitchen well appointed and stocked (coffee/tea). There is a tavern a very short walk from the house, so between groceries and the tavern, no need to leave the area. Beds very comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful! The kitchen was not as clean as other rooms in the house; bathrooms were very clean. We would definitely stay again!
