Immaculately clean & cozy

My husband and I booked this weekend getaway for my birthday and invited my brother & sister in law, and my best friend & her husband to come along. This home is immaculately clean. You wont find one cobweb or spec of dust hiding in the corner of any room. We were so impressed by this stunning home. The woodwork throughout the home is beautiful and really captured the farmhouse feel. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. We enjoyed the pool table and fireplace on the lower level the 1st night and the gazebo fireplace the 2nd night. This home also has a spectacular view of the sunset and an open view of the stars at night.
We all had a wonderful stay & look forward to our next visit.

Amazing stay
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved that it was in a country setting and the city was close as well . Sitting on the front porch and watching the buggies go by was very nice . The house was wonderful and the owners were very nice! We would definitely stay here again the next time we make a trip out that way .

Wonderful Place
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was absolutely amazing. Very clean and peaceful. We had to reach out to the hosts for a personal matter and they answered in minutes. Highly recommend if you want a clean, friendly and peaceful stay. If you wanted to do something other than look at the beautiful country side, there was a basket full of brochures for things to do in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Quiet neighborhood
Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe appreciated having a laundry along with soap and wastecan bags provided. The provided coffee was great. I think the best part was seeing the horse and wagons!!! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. We would rent this again!

Very Cozy and Family-Oriented, Would Stay Again!

The 3 beds, 2 baths fit our group of five adults very comfortably and was thoughtfully set up with plenty of little comforts (Kleenex, spare towels, K-cups, kitchen spices, etc). The kitchen was adequately supplied with various tools that allowed us to make a few meals together as a family, and the pool table provided an evening of fun too. The driveway had plenty of room for our two large vehicles, and the stairs to enter the property had solar lights to help with nighttime entry. While we didn't have any children, there was a nice crib, pack & play, and a small selection of children's toys that would be very handy for families with small children. I think the wifi hadn't been enabled, since none of us could access it but there were clear instructions on the network and password for us to use. (We didn't reach out to the hosts since the lack of access meant we spent more time together as a family.)
The location was fantastic--we were within 10-30 minutes of all the events and attractions we attended for the weekend (Sight & Sound, Biblical Tabernacle Experience, downtown Lancaster, mini golf, hiking trails, Sturgis Pretzel Bakery). Having the small-town general store and dairy store within walking distance also meant we could easily swing by for treats and groceries. If we ever return to Lancaster, we would love to stay again!
