At Moon Dogs you will find peace and quiet, but be close to everything fun Erie has to offer. Try the beaches at Presque Isle State Park or Waldameer and Water World amusement park. We were very pleased with the dog friendly house, especially the Dog Wall of Pictures. They thought of everything to make us and our two Whippets welcome. Dog bowls and towels to wipe paws if necessary. Everything was provided to make our week so relaxing and enjoyable. We plan on coming back because the location was so convenient to stores and attractions. Even the LucyDesi Museum.

Visiting Family in Erie

Just what we needed! I nice well stocked clean home to stay at with our dog while we were in town visiting our son, daughter-in-law and all the Grands. Kitchen is well stocked with all the gadgets and dishes. Nice fenced yard for the dog. Quiet neighborhood.

Fishing tributaries of lake erie

Chris, I have been staying there for 3 years straight and this year 4 of us rented the unit. However 2 of the group at the last minute could not come. Then I get an email that another $100 is due for excess cleaning to be paid!! We left the place almost as we found it. Towels were washed( (2) and I forgot to strip the bedding. Where does this so called $100 cleaning bill come from? I always pay in full to avoid this type of situations. Both of us are 66 uears old and we had 1 6 pack of beer between us for the 3 days there. We ate, watched tv and hit the rack. We cleaned every pan we used and cleaned bathroom and kitchen etc. I truly hope this was an error and can be rectified as we try to be good clients. I had a great talk with the next door man who looks after your place and he said . Thank you.he would take care of garbage and recycling as I gave him firewood due to no burning. I look forward to next year, but leaving the place in shambles is not my style

Perfect set up

Close to everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for everyone. Neat little binder explaining the house and the surrounding area. Suggestions for places to eat that highlighted place where your dog was allowed to tag along. House well stocked for a short stay for both humans and pups.

Family vacation

We checked in a little after 3pm, thr house was clean, plenty of towels for our family in the bathroom, therr was even shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower. There is a nice fire pit area in the back yard, there wasnt any wood available to burn but we found a few places you can purchase bundles of wood. There was coffee available and plenty of room for our group.of 7 people!! The kids loved the bunk room! We didnt bring our dogs but there was a large jar of tennis balls and dog chews and 2 dog beds for your furry friends. I liked there were extra blankets in the bunk room closet. We enjoyed ourselves.

Nice Stay Highly recommend

This was a nice find! We had a great stay and loved the attention to details. We were in town to visit family & family reunions. The location was one of the reasons we chose to stay here, and it did not disappoint. We could get to all the places we needed within 5-15 minutes. Great location for fishing presquile bay

It was nice having a grill to cook on. There was everything you would need in the house. Just like at home. Had a hard time getting my boat in the driveway so I put it up the road at a boat storage place. The mail box is to close to the driveway making it difficult to back a boat in. Other than that the place was great.

Loved this home and how dog friendly it is! Great location, quiet area, easy check in/out and responsive host. Our dog loved the cozy beds in front of the windows and our teens enjoyed the mini fooz ball game. We would stay again and recommend to others! Thank you for the great stay!

Adorable cottage

We stayed at Moondog Getaway to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and the Total Eclipse! The home was set in a perfect location to walk down to the shoreline on Lake Erie! Home was perfect!

Perfect weekend getaway…

The house and yard were well cared for and nicely updated and equipped. The location was the best part for us being walking distance to Waldameer and a 3-5 minute drive to the entrance of Presque Isle depending on lights. It’s advertised for dogs but we couldn’t even tell. Big kitchen, nicely decorated, comfortable beds and main level laundry. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. We’ll definitely be staying again.

Excellent Stay in a Great Location

This house was perfect for our family of four. My 17 and 19 year old had plenty of room to spread out. Each had their own bunk bed and they also really enjoyed the living room space. It was really great to have use of a fully stocked kitchen, including a dishwasher. It was also a great convenience to have a washer and dryer. There is a very spacious fenced in backyard with a fire pit. We left our dogs at home this time around, but it was clear that it would have been a very welcoming place for them to stay. The best part about this house is the convenient location to Waldameer Park and the beaches. We were there within minutes. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. They go above and beyond with the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. We had everything that we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Erie Family Visit

We stayed with our dogs to visit family in the area. The owner was very responsive to any concerns. The house was exactly what we needed. The beds were comfortable. We would have rated cleanliness as higher if the floors had been cleaner. Everything else was very clean and we don’t expect perfection with such a dog friendly rental. We would recommend this to other families.
