Cozy beach house, jacuzzi, close to beach
Located near Ermioni, on a 4,000 sqm olive grove in an area ideally set between the coastal road and the sea, the property offers a 180° unobstructed view to the sea, Hydra Island, the hills and surrounding preserved countryside. The vast garden guarantees privacy and shade under one of the 50 superb olive trees, or a relaxing bath in your private heated outdoor jacuzzi.
This recently fully renovated property consists of a main villa with two floors, and a guesthouse (in total, three independent areas with separate access), and is characterized by its large shaded pergolas (one on the ground with Garden view and partial sea view, one on the upper floor with a stunning 180° seaview) and one shaded terrace next to the jacuzzi.
* Description of the units: *
Main villa (up to 8 guests)
From the entrance of the property, the villa is on the left hand side, and the guesthouse on the right hand side. The main villa is accessible through a flight of stairs to the covered pergola that leads to the the ground floor, and its large dining room with an open kitchen, with access to the pergola and its outside dining area, one living room with TV, a small office area and one large sofa bed, one double bedroom with garden view, and one bathroom with WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hot plate, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, oven, microwave, dishes, pots, coffee machine and everything you need to prepare your meals. The vast pergola with a dining area offers a partial seaview and a garden view on the numerous olive trees.
An external staircase leads up to the upper floor, where a large shaded pergola with lounge chairs gives access to a an area with two double bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with bunk beds, and both with a window and double glazed doors providing access to the pergola, seaview and gardenview, as well as one bathroom with shower and WC.
An independent guesthouse (up to 4 guests) was recently added, and is located in the garden. It consists of one very large double bedroom (one double bed and bunk beds), with a view to the olive grove and a private terrace that leads to the jacuzzi (for 6 people).
In the guesthouse, a covered outdoor kitchen equipped with an electric hot plate, a refrigerator with freezer, a dining area, a shower room, an independent WC and a laundry room in the guesthouse.
Outside, the large fenced garden offers views onto the olive trees, the river (dry most of the time) and the green hills in the countryside.
The whirlpool can be used all year round; the water can be heated up to approx. 40 °C. The jacuzzi has an extra charge of €80 for the setup + €20/day, which includes electricity, water, cleaning and maintenance costs.
At the side of the villa, a small path leads you to a gray sand and pebble beach, only 300 meters away, with a 180° unlimited view of the deep blue sea of the Saronic Gulf, Hydra Island and other inhabited islands.
The garden is regularly maintained and the jacuzzi is inspected at regular intervals by a specialized company to ensure its water quality. There are two covered parking spots on the entirely fenced property.
Three traditional tavernas (restaurants) are within walking distance (two on the Pigadia seafront, one along the main road). In Ermioni (less than 10 km away) there are many restaurants, supermarkets, weekly fresh markets on Thursdays, ferries to and from Athens and nearby islands, and boat rental services with or without a skipper. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes by car. A wide sandy beach can be reached in 5 minutes by car.
The surroundings are still rural, and some other properties have animals (goats, sheeps, chicken, dogs) in their garden.
The villa is located in a quiet area, and a 25 minutes drive from an exclusive area: Porto Heli is the St-Tropez of continental Greece. In a radius of 10 kilometers there is a variety of sandy, rocky and pebble beaches, A charming town (Ermioni) offers various restaurants, ferries to and From Athens and nearby islands, and boat rental services with or without a skipper, shops and a supermarket.
A car is recommended; however, Ermioni, and its popular weekly fresh market on Thursdays can also be reached by public speed boat from Piraeus/Athens(reachable from Athens International Airport by public bus or taxi) in 2:30 to 3 hours. The international Airports of Athens and Kalamata are reachable by car in 2:30 to 3 hours.
The taxi boats and small ferries to Hydra Island depart from Metochi, located within a 5 minute drive from the villa.
Many ancient and archaeological sites, including Corinth, Epidaurus and Mycenae, are reachable within a one or two hour drive.
🛏️ Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €20 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided.
🧽 Final cleaning is not included and costs €120, unless you clean yourselves before departure.
