While I was checking to see if there were bed bugs I found that there was 9 condoms in package between the mattress and the box spring. I found no bed bugs. They have lights in the parking lot that light the room up like it is day light. The blinds had broken slats and did not darken the room at all. No continental breakfast.

Posted Apr. 14, 2019 on HotelsThe word "remodeled" was used on a sign in the lobby and if that is true, all I can say is that they have a long way to go. The heating/air conditioning systems are so outdated that it took overnight for my room to be comfortable. They had the thermostat set at below 50, to save energy I'm sure, but as I said it took overnight before the temperature rose enough for me to be comfortable. The internet was awful - I needed to upload 16 photos for a work project (I was there on business) and after 3 hours and not one of them had uploaded, I gave up and used my own mobile hotspot. Front desk employee was not friendly either, and passed on the credit card surcharge without notifying me. On top of it all, I paid $87 for this room and I see it's normally $66. Not cool. Will not be staying here again.

You're absolutely right, we do have a long way to go! We do all of our remodel work ourselves, so it definitely takes time, on top of the cost it takes to remodel anyways. Our heating in the remodeled rooms are brand new, but we also use electric heat so unfortunately it does take longer to heat. We're sorry you were uncomfortable. As far as the internet goes, we can't control our service provider. It's always hit or miss, you just caught it on a miss day. Again, we're sorry. We do have surcharge notices posted in 3 different spots in the lobby in case whoever is doing the check in forgets, but we'll try harder to remember. Now, for our prices, it is so much cheaper to book directly with us. Call, email, facebook, and our website...because 3rd party agencies charge us an outrages amount to have people book through them. Enjoy your stay elsewhere next time, and thank you for giving us your feedback.

Clean room. Nicely updated bathroom. Wasn’t happy about 10:00 am checkout time. TV was pretty small, and couldn’t get the guide. WiFi was good.

Yes, unfortunately due to not having water hookups in our lobby, we, by law, are not allowed to serve much other than cereals and assorted pastry's. We hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Stay with us again!

Very nice updated and modern room. Shower pressure was a little low and the mattress was a little soft for my liking, but overall, a very nice, comfortable, affordable stay.

Nice overnight stay in Escanaba
