Newly Remodeled with Fantastic Patio, Fire Table Across from Lake Estes

Estes Park Registration #3376 This charming and newly updated cottage is perfect for your vacation getaway. The cottage is located two blocks from Lake Estes near horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and downtown Lake Estes. The cottage is just a short walk from a free shuttle stop. Even though located near everything, there is still a peaceful ambiance surrounding the area. When you walk into the cottage, the living room is very cozy with a wood-burning fireplace; great gathering place for playing games with the family and just relaxing. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a full bed. There is a sunroom which can be used either as a bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa or as a TV room/sunroom. The property has air conditioning, ceiling fans and TV's in all the bedrooms and the living room. Wildlife is in abundance on the property and you can often see deer, elk, coyotes, and other animals wandering as you prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner. Don't forget the great outdoor living space and enjoy your meal on the patio which has a gas grill, table and chairs. There is also a fire pit to enjoy an evening gathering around the campfire. You can relax and truly enjoy your Rocky Mountain vacation when you stay at Elk Rock Cottage; it is your perfect mountain cottage.

Perfect for us
We appreciated coming home each day to this comfy homey place. The location was convenient to downtown, RMNP, and my father in the nearby Sr Living apartments. We especially enjoyed the deer and elk who wandered through the backyard while we ate at the back patio area.

I miss my Estes Park "home"
It was a beautiful property, exactly as listed and for a fair price. Loved that it was close to town, but far enough away that it was more quiet and peaceful. We also got to wake up to elk just outside the back door area. The living room area was perfect to relax and watch TV while recouping from the days activities. My only con was that the counters were a little sticky when we arrived, but they were easy enough to wipe up with all the supplies available. Overall 5 stars, would definitely come back here.

Great place to recoup after hiking in the RMNP. Very clean and kitchen is stocked with necessary supplies. Mountain bike trails near by in other parks. The mountains are calling!

Great Find!
This house was perfect for our stay in Estes Park. It was a great location (with mule deer right in the yard). The inside was spotless. The beds were comfortable. The house was stocked with all the things we could have needed - great for families with kids. The sunroom was a great bonus space. I would 100% recommend this property. It was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places we've stayed at!

Great Home Base in Estes
The property was great. Clean, conveniently located, quiet neighborhood, but easy access to all Estes has to offer. My only gripe - which may sound trivial - is that the management company sent an email referencing a “free gift basket” full of coffee, popcorn and hot chocolate. I naively didn’t pack coffee as a result and what was provided was a Folgers “in room” (ie designed for a hotel machines) packet. Just meant a morning without coffee. I don’t believe this is on the host but instead the mgmt co. Long story short - pack coffee.

Such an Adorable, Cozy Home
We loved this home for our stay in Estes Park. It might have been a bit cramped for a full family. But for the two of us, it was the perfect amount of cozy. We had a wonderful visit, and we're thankful for this accommodating home that was exactly what we needed.

Fantastic rental!!
We have dietary needs so cooking onsite or traveling with food is a must for us. This is a wonderful property with plenty of space for the family. We played games, sat by the fireplace, and enjoyed the Elk as they crossed the road and meandered through the neighborhood. Awesome location, and the hosts were superb. Thank you for a memorable trip- highly recommend!! A+!

Just charming!
What an amazing little house! Incredibly clean, and a very well done, cozy remodel! The house was charming and an easy location for everything in Estes Park. Easy fishing access to Lake Estes. Five star stay!

Cute & comfy cabin with beautiful mountain views
We had a great stay at this cabin with an easy drive into town. The cabin was very clean and well-stocked and felt bigger than it is with separated spaces to rest & relax. Loved the windows facing the mountains and great backyard seating area up against the rocks.

The home had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and the kitchen was well appointed for meal prep. The beds were comfy. The view to the mountains was nice and a bonus was waking up to over a dozen elk in the neighborhood one morning. The four of us really enjoyed our stay here.

Good location
Pros: This rental is in a convenient location. The house was compact, but laid out well. The kitchen is stocked minimally, but was adequate for our needs. The house was very clean. Cons: Check in was difficult and the “office” was closed on weekends. After some effort, we reached the property manager and we’re told curtly that we hadn’t signed COVID Release forms. We finally got everything straight, but it was not a good first impression. The only other off-putting item is that there were mousetrap boxes in almost every room. This might be necessary in such a natural setting, but it was not something we had experienced before.

We enjoyed both the home and the backyard area. Lots of rooms and areas to make our own. Plenty of common space and private space. Lots of wildlife and a very special visit by two does and three fawns!!!! So sweet!

Deer scare
Going out one morning to walk the dogs my wife had an experience she will never forget. She exited the front started to walk to the right and came almost face to face with a buck. A big eight point. It was fantastic!

We would go back next year
This well situated cottage is comfortable and the location is great. The kitchen is small but my kids liked the built-in dinette and the dishwasher works well. The entire unit was very clean. There were enough sheets and towels for everyone. Having a washing machine and dryer was indispensible. It would have helped to have a designated place for the dog's waste and we would have preferred access to more than one channel on the muliple televisions, but overall we would be happy to return.
